It was up at like noon yesterday way to be on top of things:lol

I ahd a feeling, but I was WAY too lazy to look :chew :chew :chew See what actually exercising does to you? makes you tired and lazy afterwards, damn trainer....

After watching ROTJ just now one Diorama I'd love would be the funeral pyre of Darth Vader. It'd only be done right in solid form and make it 1/6 so it serves as an environmental as well for the current 12".

Also, the Jedi Spirits scene at the end would be great, since Hayden is the canonical piece now due to the SE, the Exclusive could be an interchangable Sebastian Shaw piece for purists! :rock

Great minds think alike JM, once this line was announced, that came to mind very quickly, I have always wanted to see a great piece of this, such a powerful moment that would work great in diorama format, I hope they do it, and a nice series of flickering LEDs inside could give a great burning effect.

Both great ideas, and I'd LOVE to have your second one done. In the same transparent material (acrylic?) used on the Sue Storm piece. As iconic as it gets.

Count me in as one of the few that would NOT want the exclusive "Sebastian Shaw" piece...

And no, I did not see the "prequels" first. I am 32 and saw the OT as a kid in the theartres. Always thought "Shaw" was the biggest and dumbest casting mistake they ever made!

SHAW 4 LIFE! Hayden can't act! EAT IT! :lol

oooooor have your own opinion I guess.

Here's my question: Why would Luke know who that long-haired hippy is? He only saw a bald, old tore up Anakin. I mean he could ASSUME, but we know what happens when we do that, BAD EXCUSE. Sure, The Force right? The answer to everyting unanswerable in Star Wars, also lame.

What bugs me most is there was an actor hired for that role. Guy got paid, got credit (his only real claim to fame amongst the younger generation) and than, out of no where...HE'S GONE! WTF? I'd have been so ticked if I was his family. His only few seconds, shorted even more for a talentless hack who couldn't even deliver the line "You will try" better than an awkward 11 year old in a high school play!

The actor who played Hobbie in ESB got paid, got his name in the credits, and never appeared once on screen. I hate Irvin Kershner. ESB sucks.

Stuart Townsend was paid to play the part of Aragorn in LOTR but then was fired and replaced by Viggo Mortensen. LOTR sucks. Peter Jackson sucks. They need to consider those actors' FAMILIES I tell you!

Exactly how good of an actor do you think Shaw is? He had two or three lines then stood there grining like an idiot! How exactly would luke recognise Shaw anyhow as he looks nothing like what he did in the suite! As for Shaw's only claim to fame and his family... Screw em! Let them eat cake (so to speak)! I really could care less about how this guy and his family feel or even where they are today!

See my big problem with Shaw is that at the time he was an overweight fat old fart that looked physicaly wise, nothing like Vader! Yes I know, Vader's arms and legs are prostethics but his body isn't and that fat tub of lard never would have even been able to wear the armor.

Now back when I was 8 I surely wasn't the smartest person in the world but even I could see this. Seeing Shaw totaly killed the magic of Vader for me, I realized then that my own grandmother could take him and win easily. As far as I'm concered, If removing Shaw from the movie and replacing him with Hayden betters the movies (and in my opinion it does greatly!), then both he and his family are expendible!

P.S.

I had no idea Stewart Townsend was ever hired to play "Aragorn" in the LOTR movies but if that's true, man we/they really dodged a bullit! What a piece of turd those movies would have been with him in one of the main parts!

His few lines were better than all of Hayden's, but I blame Lucas' writing on that. Anyway, Vader was a pretty large dude by that time, he certainly wasn't slim, and once Shaw is in Jedi form, you can't really tell how fat he is, same with Guiness. Also, he looks more like what Luke saw than H.C does.

And my comment about the family never had anything to do with "poor them" guess it got misunderstood.

Lucas is a chump for the whole SE I feel like anyway (no I'm not someone who saw it in theaters, I'm 26, but it's just my opinion), "why put a mustache on the Mona Lisa?" but I'm not against all the changes, the space scenes were cool!

But thank the stars for the double dvd that hit last year! I can get my fatso, you can get your doofus and we both win!

Shaw had quite a beer belly on him. The actor wearing the Vader suite was about 6'5 and was a former body builder. There was no fat on him... Hell, he still looks good today.

I know, but it's such a bulky suit you can't see his shape too well. And again, that robe covers up a lot. Regardless Hayden looks out of place, to me, completely there. But as my friend Arnold Drummond taught me, "It takes different strokes to rule the world, yes it does." :chew
