I don't think we are. As for me, I'm just saying it doesn't look like Depp. Other than that is is a great representation of a Todd Sweeney. Who else would be in line for doing this figure the honour of giving us a figure that looked like Depp? Only Hot Toys or Sideshow, seeing as Medicom have played their hand now.

I think this is a great figure, I see both Johnny Depp & Sweeney Todd in the small pictures. Costume looks great too, at least I know with Medicom's quality control, it will be great with minimal loose threads.

From what I can see in the tiny pictures, it looks like Depp to me.
Only more detailed pics will tell.

What kind of ruler are you using. The pictures come up on my screen at least five times that size. As for bashing, I don't think anyone in this thread has bashed this figure, other than to say it doesn't look like Depp. Your an over exaggerating under estimater.

Looking at those pics, it would appear that the pants on the Medicom figure need to be more blue.

I kinda like the black, though.

It looks more like Depp than Hot Toys first attempt with Jack Sparrow.

Irish is right, the pants should be blue, but I never noticed the color in the film. It's always so dark I just thought the pants were black.

Personnaly, I think its a beautiful figure and for once the lack of face paint in the figure really works with the paleness of the character.I fell in love with this movie when it got out and I need that figure.
