You have to remove the head to turn on the light up feature? That sucks.

Went over the production pics again on the website and compared to the video, the paint job has definitely changed. Even the base colours are different (dirt looks greenish on the video, whereas it's brown in the pics). Endo itself looks very flat and not as shiny, blue and weathered as it does in the pics. I thought they were supposed to be the same? I'm really disappointed as I was really looking forward to this after seeing production photos.

On a side note, I noticed one of the mouth pistons is missing on their unboxing video...lol:

Personally I don't care for light up features as I never use them. I don't like leaving batteries in my collectibles.

I still haven't ordered yet. I'm hoping for some positive reviews once people start receiving them.

Hi people! Sideshow Collectibles is playing with us ?! Where the hell are the pistons from the mouth ??? From the beginning I said that teeth are too yellow, this is not a problem anyway I would be re-painted the teeth of this T800. But to miss those pistons that are part of the character's accuracy, it's already too much. I'm really serious about giving up the deposit and not paying $ 600 on a garbage. Now I understand why in a year this T-800 is still in stock because the world wants to see the end product! It's a huge mistake to present this kind of video like that , and more then that because SC postponed the production for two months in which it could put those pistons.

Light up Red eyes for a Terminator seems essential though doesn't it? I think it will add a lot to the overall presence as opposed to the eyes just being painted.

It may have been sloppy for them not to notice one was missing, but the left side was there, so they didn't just leave them out. QC issue with this one, that's all.

Hi rjszar.

You have noticed this aspect very well. I have not noticed that on the left side there is the piston :( I can not believe Sideshow Collectibles which is the standard of perfection to make such mistakes:(

I hope they can fix the problem. I have already sent mail to them:(

Yeah for sure man, but it's the sort of thing I would probably just turn on for photos though, as I couldn't see myself leaving them on all the time, especially if they are powered by batteries as they would die fairly quickly. It's a cool feature though, same with the light up in the base.

I wouldn't worry about it to be honest. I pointed it out because I thought it was funny. It's obviously just a quality control issue that Sideshow didn't notice when they filmed the unboxing. I wouldn't expect the rest of them to be like that.

My main issue is the teeth. They look far better in the photo than they do in the unboxing video, which I find very disappointing. I just don't see how it changed so much when the photos are meant to be of a production piece...

Yeah, the jaw pistons are obviously inserted separately like the back leg pistons of the PCS Robocop statue or the hooks in the head of the Pinhead pf. They just forgot or didn’t get around to them yet for that particular closeup.

I'm not digging the video, hope the actual statue is better looking with regards to the paint job. If not, it would be another repaint job like the CC statue.

Tup, Can you advise us what they say when they respond to you?

if I receive this in the UK with anything missing or broken, the money this has cost me it will be going straight back!

Just in case anyone is curious, I emailed Sideshow about this looking different in the video compared to the production photos and asked if it had changed. They told me it was the same thing and likely looked different due to lighting and equipment when shooting. Hopefully that's the case.

Just emailed Sideshow about the materials used for the endoskeleton itself since they now have it in hand and I was told it's primarily polystone with ABS plastic used for the smaller parts like the pistons.
