Hi guys. I hear that after being on ‘waitlist’ for a long time Sideshow are now shipping new 1:1 endoskeletons. Has anyone received one of these? Are they just a re-make of the V2 or have they addressed the widely-reported issues with the previous V2’s?

They never admitted the problem, so I doubt they changed anything other than raising the price again.

Not sure about them admitting about any problems, but I'm pretty sure I got an email from them sating that they have made improvements hence the price hike!

Would love to see that email if you can find it

You don’t want one of these. Mine’s leaning so bad it’s going to topple over in the next year or two. I’ve seen others much worse in a shorter amount of time.
Did the lean get worse over the years? What's it's current status? If anyone else has any input on long term issues with these 2.0 endos please chime in. I haven't seen any more posted about this in years, and this is still the only option for a life size T-800 endoskeleton.

Yes, it got worse. In 2019, I commissioned a private restoration company to concoct a solution to keep it erect. It’s now standing tall again!

Wow thanks for the update KoBE! I just wonder if they'll all lean eventually or if it was a defect.

Maybe the weight of the two guns? Although I've seen one V1 lean backwards towards it's right.

Then there are the majority I've seen online that stand up straight with no lean for years and years. It's odd.

Wish another company would bring out life size T2 endos. As long as sideshow keeps pumping out V2s, I don't think that will ever happen. I'd love to get one of these but the defect rate is at least four to five times higher compared to other pieces from other companies. There's a recent YouTube video of a collector receiving his and again experienced a bucket load of problems.

Standing tall, but ugly with the cables visible. Wonder what stresses by the cables are doing to the statue. I imagine a big crash in the middle of the night.

Oof, such negativity. You don’t even notice the cables in person and it’s been almost three years now.
