The only way I'll get the Takara version is if it's made with silicone skin, rooted hair, moveable eyes, real leather jacket, kakhi pants made from bannana repbulic, the most accurate head sculpt available, accessories from every single Indy movie, and a Harrison Ford signed Bluray boxset of the entire series, including the new one before it comes out.

I would definitely buy that!

hey for the right money, i can pretend to be whatever you want me to be big bigboy.

i was thinking, with all this talk of harrsion ford delivering to your door and solid gold idols, i'd actually prefer if jonathan ke quan who played short round became my house slave for a month if i bought the figure. that's what the accessory should be. he can take it in turns to visit every consumer for a month.

I don't think you have to worry 8th. Looks like there seems to be an over abundance of people with ESP or just can't be tempted to spend their money but like to repeat what has been said before again and again. What do we know so far? Zilch, other than it will come on the GenX Core body, it will be of Indy, and now it costs $420 instead of $400. Why the extra $19? Itisn't extra, it's the exchange rate. Pics will be here soon enough.

When Toys McCoys brought theirs out, the same thing would have been said, until recently, people would be clamoring to get one. When Enterbay brought out their Lee figures. Same. Even for lesser priced items, like Takara's Batman. The cries of Hot Toys over Takara were resolute. I can't wait to see the comments when pics show up. More I wont be buying it. It's not worth it. No need to justify what or why you wont get. I get sick of the bored posts. This is the Takara Indy thread, if you aren't getting it, go post in the Sideshow Indy thread. Have a whinge there about how you like the Sideshow one and the reasons why your getting it.

well said creech. very well said indeed. personally i've paid $400 for a figure before. only once. but that was for something spectacular. and i wouldn't mind doing it again if this indy turns out as stunning. 1/6 collecting has turned into a serious passion/obssession for me and i want the best. if the takara really is the best indy, i'll want it. but i won't be paying $419. i'll be paying about $290 from rakuten. i bet even ebay will have far cheaper prices than $419.

I hope so too. If I knew how to get one for $290 I would, but I'll go the auction route and hope for a bargain, as long as there are auctions going, but I don't think it will be long for them to dry up and only have BINs everywhere.

I'm just wondering why it's so high... something has to be different about it. The Takara Batman wasn't that expensive. Very interested to see pics.
