Totally agree with this. Luke's the best SW human by far, but HT did take some shortcuts with some of the details, whereas I don't think 3PO could be realistically improved upon for mass production.

I agree, I agree.......but he's just not 100% movie accurate, but I love him as though it was.

I got a good deal on this guy off of eBay. I had a 10% eBay coupon that I used and the seller was offering free shipping. So I ended up getting 3PO for under market value. Here is my review of him below on YouTube. I think he's perfect and although there are always some that will point out faults, for a 1/6 figure, this is close enough to be considered perfect for me.

Thanks and yes I do review customs. Check out my channel. I have reviewed several of Beto's customs along with others like Ones1customs as well. I do plan on doing one on his Jason. That is for sure.

Thanks. I height adjust all my figs. I just hope my calculations are correct.

I was playing around with some sitting ideas. Taking off the legs and sitting him in a seat with holes to accommodate the "underpants" would be the easiest way with out modding the figure.

Ok. This is how accurate this guy is. Technically I was right but not quite. Anthony Daniels is 5'9" which means the costume would fit him and 3PO should be 5'9" to the top of his dome piece. But then there is the ridge on the top of his head where the back and front face plates come together which makes him an inch or so taller. So the figure is 11.5 inches tall to the top of the dome but 11 11/16 inches to the top of his ridge. Still amazed everyday at how accurate this guy is.

did the eye mod yesterday courtesy of PJB-1138's film gels. i went with the lighter color and already looks 100% better. tonight i'm going to switch to the darker color he sent & take a look at that. may even try both at once. not a hard mod at all but a delicate one, so be careful & easy on the retightening of the screws........
