Medicom looks really shiny strange that gokins look dull.

BTW the way he arranges his figures doesn't do justice to them.

If money isn't a deciding factor, it really is a no-brainer. Oscorp's pic (I think):

I am being really nice to most here. People if you're not happy with ssc. Then look into a Class Action Lawsuit. Ssc made a post thatopen then up.

As A pperson who collection is mostly by numbers. I am not happy and well.I am thinking of leaving it.

But all the crazy stuff on lady death and others even C3PO . Sue them they will listen!

In the end it may cost them $$$.

WTF? Litigation? :lol

All I want is a nice shiny toy. SSC can't give that to me. So I'm going to shop at a store that can. As well, in future I won't be paying the higher price at SSC for a figure based on the erroneous assumption that their CS is worth it. SSC loses $$$ on both counts.

Why on earth would I want to sue?

Yeah, I don't want them to go outta business and lawd know this country is mired in enough lawsuits! Not like they told anyone to go screw themselves, you ain't getting your money back. Just saying that they use to have a very clean no hassle return policy and process, save for imports. Is just starting to be like everyone else's return policy now.
No CAL.

Not my pic.

Glad to hear it. The way the figures are arranged doesn't do justice to them.

They'll keep losing customers until they get their house in order. Once I sort out my refund with them I'll be letting them know how ridiculous a scenario it is to deny me an exchange but instead offer me a full refund - which, if I chose to, I could then use to place another order with them for the same figure because it's still in stock.

Can you translate this post into English?

I am going to dump my droid. This is the 3rd post I made that did not even sound like I wanted it.

In Short Side Show Alex made a post. This is a open board and its been backup. He/She open them up to a lawsuit.

I've got a couple more flexpayments to go then I'll have mine.

I really hope I don't get a returned reject one from Sideshow. I'm happy to pay more and use SSC but if their CS has gone down the toilet then..........

I might see if I can pay it off early, break the flexpay.

@Lejuan, I hope it gets sorted out for you, you were one of the first to order too! Yours has far too many QC issues, it should never have made it through QC.

If you get one that has been return. What are you going to do? No $1.00 menu for you. Really they no longer need to care, this has shown. I when back and read their CS pages from the past years. You know what, they did care. Seems this year, they long longer do.

TWO returns?? That blows. You should be able to get your money and reward points fully refunded. BTW After two weeks I got ZERO response from my initial enquiry about exchange/refund. It was only once I called them - not easy in my timezone - that the wheels started moving. Good luck!

Money yes, Points no. You used. Them. Now if they wish to be nice. But?

Why not? Really if any US Company want to pay this game. Give it back. Look I am not being hard. I don't care about eyes. But I do care about the end item. It's up to the seller, any seller to sell you what you asked for. If you just take what they give you. Then stop posting about SSC SC. Deal with it. Your the problem.

Fine, you get your money back. The you will need to if you wish buy it from someone else. Fine. But if they have one that is mint. Why should they not charge you $900 for it? After all SSC is charging you $400 for a broken one. An your Happy with it? Or you will take your refund. Guess what. 10 others will just buy it in return and, maybe 3 will return it?

All I am saying is stop bad mouthing a company. That does not care about you. If you don't care, why should they? Guess what? They are showing they DON'T!

See to me there's a gaping chasm that separates "sue, sue, sue!" and "taking what they give you".

I'm not taking what they gave me. I'm sending it back for a full refund and I'm taking my business elsewhere. Which is a very reasonable approach. Props to you if you have the time and inclination to launch a lawsuit against a toy shop. I have better things to do with my time and energy.

Dude, no one is bad mouthing SS. Simply sharing experience as informed consumers so that others can make informed choices. You know, like reading Consumer Products magazine, or any other trade Mag that discusses one product, or customer experience over another. I'm not sure you understand how a CAL works, or any lawsuit filed in the US court system but first, in order to form an argument for a case, you need to be able to show that harm was done maliciously or in a manner that doesn't meet some established standard of care. SS offering refunds.... uh, is basic industry standard. The discussion is simply about if they go over and beyond as they once did.
I'm not tort happy, but if you are, more power to you. My 3po is fine, BTW.

Well dude this broad if full of people that bad mouth ssc and Ht. I understand how it works, point being you as a collectier should not have to take subpart items.

Bussiness laws are the only ones I read. Any USA business has to give it's buyers anditem tthat's. Well look it up.

Btw family law, I did it for a year. I drank 2/4 1.75? big bottles of Johnny walker black a night. Now it takes me a year to do a gold and blue.

But really everything aside. Don't you want what you pay for?

Of course I want what I pay for, but if the retailer is willing to either refund my money, or offer a replacement, or somehow make the situation whole by reducing the price, which SS has offered the former, Seems like their approach has changed, which has sparked the conversation questioning if they are really worth the extra scratch anymore.

You answer the question.

DCFett summed it up nicely, but just to clarify my position:

Not being able to offer me a replacement figure, SSF offered me a partial refund of $50 to compensate for the damage, or I could return the figure for a full refund.

My issue with all of this is:

I would expect that, given these sets are still listed as being in-stock, that a replacement could easily be found. As I've said before, this is just based on my own perception, which is quite possibly shrouded in ignorance as to how Sideshow organise their stock. It does seem odd that I could get a full refund and then turn around and pay outright for another figure, but there y'go.

Secondly, their CS policy on returns states that customers should expect a reply after 48 hours of SSC receiving the enquiry. I was annoyed that I had to resend my initial email after a week, then actually call them after not having heard zip for two weeks. In my timezone it's tricky to get to the phone at the right time. But, I have to say, as soon as I called them things moved pretty quick.

Alright? This isn't about how Sideshow ripped me off, or I was hardly done by. I do think that it's odd they couldn't replace the figure and I do think that that their response to my query should have happened earlier. I paid the SSC premium because I thought I was set to avoid this scenario. The fact that I didn't avoid this scenario has me now thinking that the extra Sideshow coin doesn't offer any such guarantee. Therefore I will return to shopping at my other trusted stores.

Far out. Litigation because my dolly was scratched and I only get a full refund? Really? I don't want to live in that kind of world, sorry :dunno

You honestly do not need to explain yourself Lejuan - or DCfett, for that matter. Both of you have - not only commented intelligently & coherently thus far, but are more than well justified with your grievances.

Others making some kind of debate out of what you've shared.. is short sighted to say the least.
