will the snake body be bendable?
or will it be hard plastic?

Since there aren’t any pics of the tail in any other position, I’m going to guess it’s going to be hard plastic/resin similar to their bases. Probably good and heavy to prevent her from toppling over with posing of the upper body.

Looks like they turned out really well. The red version has a much more realistic snake coloring, which didn’t see to come across as clear in the original photos. The green version is certainly more fantasy snake colored. Either one is a winner!

I really am struggling between the two - I have both on preorder because I couldnt decide between the more realistic or fantastic looks, which are you leaning towards?

I went with the green version day 1. I may try picking up the head and tail of the red version though.

Got this on pre-order my first female in my collection got to say she looks really cool can't wait to get it. I'm a big fan of the Medusa from Clash of Titans also I know they have that one.

Surprised to not see a thread for this yet. Might be better to just make it into an Olympian thread at some point like the Egyptian Gods thread, which has had some great customs in the last few pages.

I’m excited to see a bit of different release with Medusa. The usual color variations but different heads for each. The giant snake tail is the real winner here. I’d have liked to have seen a green skinned version as one of the variations though. Some broken ‘statues’ on the base would have been cool but probably hard to incorporate on a small base needing room for the snake tail. I’m generally not one to order these figures but this one got my attention enough to order the gold version.

They're the same thing besides just the color scheme of gold and silver right? Do they both come with that other head with the green snakes? Just curious I ordered the silver one I looked at and it looked like they were the same exact thing to me just silver and gold.

Wow I'm glad I read this thread, because I went back and looked I didn't even notice that they were different that much so I ended up ordering both LOL, I like them both but I think I like the golden one now better but hopefully when it comes time to pay I have enough money for them both or else I'm going to have to make a decision, oh boy. I want them both, LOL

Medusa has arrived and looks fricking awesome!
I am shocked by how high quality the tail is, its made from a heavy resin/polystone like material like the display base, no chance of it tipping under the body's weight or posing, especially if you put the snake tail on the base which conforms nicely to the snakes coils so it feels really secure.
The detailing and colour work on the snake tail is top notch, such an impressive feature.
LOVE the head sculpt, all the snakes are realised beautifully and really look like individual snakes with accurate features, coloring, expressions, movement and the like - they are really impressive.
Medusa's expression looks really good and overall I an really really very very happy with this figure.

Yeah I'm a big fan of that one too I also know they have that but I really like both versions of these especially the green one.
