I think the only vehicle I'd buy at 1:6 would be an Aston Martin DB5 or DBS but man I can't wait to see this come together. The most refreshing thing I've seen since all the 1:4 stuff.

So this is why Hot Toys' entire production schedule has been delayed. :monkey1

Found the reason! :)

I don't believe that's a legitimate reason, because they can easily do both. They now have that luxury by
virtue of the fact that they're dominating the 1/6 game. There's no reason for them to limit or confine themselves
almost exclusively to comic themed blockbusters at the expense of others. I'm merely talking about balance which
doesn't preclude them from making money too:wink1:

"The most over-priced thing we're going to make."

Also, I hate The Bat, It ruins the realistic feel to Nolan's Batman

How exactly does the Bat ruin Nolan's grounded Batman? It doesn't! Ever since Begins, Nolan's Batman has had its fantastical elements while being somewhat grounded.

i think its cool that HT is making one. it really leaves the possibilities endless.

for me though the bat just doesnt look like a batman vehicle, much like the tumbler its a pass for me. i have the 89 batmobile on PO and would do the same for the 89 batwing.

This would work much better if someone PSed The Bat in front of him:

:lol at how some are passing judgement on The Bat before the film is even out

Why do you need to have seen the film?

I can say in terms of 'The Bat' in the film it to me looks totally out of place with everything we've seen in the series so far, In terms of the collectable I think it'll be too big and unlike the tumbler/batmobile wont look as in place just sat on a shelf/inside a custom display case even with it slightly levitated.

I look forward to seeing more of this project but at the moment I'm 99% sure I wont be buying it. A 1989 Batwing would be a different story though....

I guess its a matter of taste the Bat looks alright not as sweet as the tumbler, but to be frank I would like to see more of it. For me its getting to the point were I have to chose between Noland Batman or Tim Burton Batman.

I love the modern look of Nolans Batman but collecting both will be crazy and if they even go that route and make the 89 Batwing or the Batman return Boat that woud be insane.

Size, sure, will be too big for 99% of collectors

But whether one likes the vehicle or finds its out of place can hardly be judged effectively without seeing the film.

Forget chasing a tumbler. Soon as anyone enters my front door, they will be seeing this thing staring at them with Batman inside! I really do hope it's gigantic and detailed well.

Just seen this and now I am totally screwed.
I still haven't found a good way of displaying my tumbler at a reasonable price, and due to my weakness for batman collectables I'm pretty sure I will buy this.
Where the hell am I going to put it? :dunno
I need help guys!

Hang the Bat in the seeling with some wires! :)

And I'm going to display my tumbler on a LACK-table from IKEA. Cover the surface with roofing felt to look like asphalt, and paint some white stripes. And then have a glass/plexi case made at a local firm to place over it :)! Hoping it will look as good IRL as it does in my head right now!

Thanks for the info dude.
Hopefully it looks as good in my house as it does in your head! :lol

Could you folks imagine having a display with Bane standing on The Tumbler, Catwoman riding the Batpod, and Batman either sitting in or getting out of The Bat? :thud:
