what about those life size statues that sideshow sells?

Those are quite big and expensive.

Cylon 1/1 shipping was $900. I just took the van up there and pick it up. SSC has a T-800 1/1 with free shipping.

You forgot about the 1/1 items. Those are so big I can fit two of my kids in the them.

OK, you're right, I should use complete complex scale model instead of collectible, it is just too fragile and too big to be transported unlike the LS statues.

Why just a picture of the Batcave? Why not an actual 1/6 Batcave? I think Hot Toys should just go balls out and "1/6" everything. They need to make a 1/6 Wayne Tower, to display The Bat on top of it. Then, a 1/6 hospital to go with a Nurse Joker figure (they could probably combine the two into one package to create the largest mother ******in DX, ever). Also, a 1/6 prison (like in TDKR) with realistic pee and blood smell.

OMG my thoughts exactly! A 1:6 earth will be many times more massive than the moon itself, but I have faith in Hot Toys and their ability to replicate absolutely anything in 1:6 scale. The naysayers can go to hell!

I been a lurker for a while now - I recall a fellow board member interested in "custom" making this into 1/6 scale...

I found some interesting pictures: to help out with reference, including the insides of the cockpit and what seems to be the correct number of blades this thing has underneath - (which seems to be four - I been framed by framed after the cat/bat fight against the mercs)

Try the link in case the pictures from FB don't pop up - these include very good pictures of the inside cockpit, HUD and markings. I hope whoever is doing this, finds the pictures for reference helpful.

Just re-watched TDKR. There are indeed - 4 blades per rotor.

If HT does indeed decide to make this - I hope they switch from 2 to 4.

Time will tell. Would really love to get this. But as many said, given how much CQ damage in both tumbler releases as well the batpod - it would simply be too much for HT to handle.

I do wish they would come out with a Model version of it at least - or 2 boxes. I recall HT lost a lot of money during the first Tumbler release (they knew) but they went ahead with it regardless...(I could use some citation, but that's what I read in some forums)

i agree. they should do it in model form. harken back to the days when hot toys released figures in kit form to cut down costs

Having finally re-watched the movie this weekend, I'm hoping that HT eventually figures out a way to get us this beast!
