You ain't kidding Oh well. I really think it is an awsome piece and 2 years ago I would not even think of selling it even with the problem. I just need to down size. My son has asthma and we think the room he is in may be adding to the problem. Since my love for statues seems to be dying a little every year I figure I sell some off and move his bedroom into my movie room and my movie room into his bedroom.

I had been thinking of just storing the statues until my kids were older and then I would move down into the finished basement and display the stuff down there. But after this event I guess It just deflated me.

Oh well.

Arrgh I don't know what to do. I really love this piece but the only 1/4 scale piece I have to date is the Alien Warrior Maquette. I told myself originally I'm only going to collect the 1/5 and/or 1/6 statues (not HT figures) due to both space and cost. Because there are a few franchises I like (LOTR, Buffy - both of which currently have statue lines happening so working out costly), but this is really amazing and there aren't any great Terminator statues in 1/5 or 1/6 scale. I almost got the T-800 polystone statue, but I haven't yet as I'm not entirely sold on the walking pose(??). Still, with the release of the T-1000 I might as they look good together._

Hey,_I see you're in Tasmania. I'm up in Brisbane, Queensland, where do you get your collectibles from, Sideshow direct in the US or do you order them from a local reseller? I usually use Popcultcha or Casefresh based in Melbourne

I would say go 1/4 scale, that would be my advice.

I sold all my other stuff which was a lot of 1/6 and random busts and figures in 2009 after I got a few PFs. They just have the wow factor IMO. I didn't dig that last T2 fig (the corridor one?). This T1 PF is ____en godlike and if you got it you might be like 'That's it! 1/4 scale for me from now on!'

I was getting my stuff thru Case Fresh and Popcultcha too but with the Flexpay option that SS has it's a huge advantage and I don't have to worry about BAM! 400-500 bucks going on my credit card in one hit - I can budget the payments in and it's no drama. I don't know a 3rd party site that offers payment plans.

A hidden drawer in the side of the base would have been nice for this piece. Somewhere to store the extra head for quick swaps. Would also serve a practical purpose for having such a high base on these things....

My goodness. What the hell do I say? Sideshow really, really nailed it with this one and I was a hater on this piece since the pre-order pics were shown. I originally thought it looked NOTHING like Arnold. Now...it's one of the best interpretations I've seen of him.

They really, really made the production piece 10x better than the crap friggin proto. Now how often does that happen!?!?

Man I'm going to have to buy this now.

makes looking at the HT Schwarzenegger sculpt even more painful now. definitely gonna get rid of the HT 1984 T800 now that I own the more accurate and higher quality piece

This will be my first Arnold piece. Too good to pass up. Definitely the best Terminator/Arnold to come out so far. IMHO.
I was going to just wait for Rafs' custom 1/3 bust but, that's taking forever. lol Plus, I figure, having both can't hurt. One is T1 and the other T3 battle damaged.
