Order the exclusive from sideshow yesterday!
Looking forward to receive it after seeing all the great pictures!

I ordered the ex. It dident have the ex in the order confirmation. I just picked it up from the office and it is indeed the ex.

Nope, doesn't say "exclusive" on mine either.
I'm guessing that it doesn't for anyone then, and there was just some internal mix up for you.

Check the item number in your order emails 3000681 is the ex, 300068 is the regular

I didn't have ex in the check out or confirmation email either but an ex arrived. I was a bit worried about that, sorry you had a mix up Bear.

Just opened him up. Love him! No problems at all with the magnets or droopy gun or hairline paint problems. The ex head does have a few spots on it but its not to horrible....mostly on the neck line. Would have loved a totally spotless head but oh well.

When you ordered the Terminator Exclusive, on your order page, not the photo, does it say "The Terminator Premium Format - Exclusive Version" or it does not have "exclusive" on it?

I'm asking because I ordered the Exclusive and I received the regular. They already shipped a replacement for me, no problem, but when I checked my order, it does not say "exclusive" anywhere, except the little red "EX" on the photo. I wonder if that is why they sent me the regular instead, although if you click on the order it goes to the exclusive version page....

Are your orders the same way? Did you order the exclusive but it does not say exclusive on the order page? Or was it a glitch on my order at the time?

I ordered an EX and received a regular version also. but if you contact SS, they will fix that issue pretty fast.

I would say go 1/4 scale, that would be my advice.

I sold all my other stuff which was a lot of 1/6 and random busts and figures in 2009 after I got a few PFs. They just have the wow factor IMO. I didn't dig that last T2 fig (the corridor one?). This T1 PF is ____en godlike and if you got it you might be like 'That's it! 1/4 scale for me from now on!'

I was getting my stuff thru Case Fresh and Popcultcha too but with the Flexpay option that SS has it's a huge advantage and I don't have to worry about BAM! 400-500 bucks going on my credit card in one hit - I can budget the payments in and it's no drama. I don't know a 3rd party site that offers payment plans.

Damn it.. that's both what I wanted to hear and not what I wanted to hear haha.

I've never collected busts and I can safely rule out legendary scale as it's just too big and not my thing, but many a PF have caught my eye, but I've avoided up till now just due to size and sometimes it can be really hit and miss with the mixed media and fabric choice/tailoring. Some of the earlier PFs look pretty crap compared to the calibre of some of the PFs today.

I guess I would like the best representation of whatever (character/role/actor) I'm purchasing a product of, but I also wanted all my items to compliment each other in size to a point. I'm collecting the LOTR new statue line in 1/6 because, honestly, I think they are much better sculpts and paint apps than the LOTR PFs...

Hmmm.. maybe I will start collecting 1/4 scale and just group them with my SS Alien Warrior Maquette and keep the 1/5 and 1/6 statues on another shelf.

Do you have any problems shipping direct from SS in the US to NZ?

I have purchased many things through sideshow, and have always found their shipping excellent- reliable, cheap and fast (takes about 6 -7 days to arrive at my doorstep from when it's shipped from the US)
Just gotta watch out for items over $1000, as they can incurr import taxes on top!

BTW. T-800 just arrived. -outstanding work Sideshow.
Didn't particularly like the proto pics....then came the in-hand pics which were very promising.
This is without a doubt, the most accurate human SS PF I have.
Absolute stunning sculpt and top notch mixed media jacket, pants etc.

Also, one of the big advantages of going thru SS, is you have the EX option available for the same price as the reg. not sure with casefresh (never ordered with them) but with Popcultcha you only get access to the reg edition as with most local resellers.
I will put some pics up soon. This one is a cracker PF!

To NZ or Oz? No worries with these figs getting to me, SIdeshow uses Fedex and they get to me in about a week from California to Hobart.

Yeah those guys are good and local so that's good but Sideshow really are a breeze to deal with and 3rd party stores can't get the EX, they are Sideshow only unless someone flips their on eBay which happens.

I have checked my eyes out,

If you don´t know well Arnold, it can resemble him but,
if you compare the 2......

Arnold is very young in THE TERMINATOR he is 37yo.

The statue has too much unshaved look,
too many wrinkes,
nasolabial wrinkles (lines from nose to lips) are too marked,
mouth and chin are wrongly shaped,
proprortion of the face is wrong ( too tall and narrow )

followed by Terminator 2 HOT TOYS and THE TERMINATOR HOT TOYS.

This PF is a nice piece but it is mine opinion that has not the best likeness out there.
