How do you like your T 800 Premium Format? I am looking into selling some of my 12 inch figures for a few premium format figures like the T 800 and sideshow Jason.
I'm with Dannie on this. After all of the photos I've seen of the statue I'm still finding it hard to be impressed about the overall look of it.
Over here in Australia it's retailing for almost $600 - $700!!! And I just can't justify forking out that much money for something that 'just doesn't look right'.
To anyone out there who enjoys there Terminator PF, well good luck to you. You're benchmark of quality obviously isn't as high as the rest of us.
This statue is one reason why I'm collecting more of the Hot Toys 1/6 line, you've only got to look at the quality to see why. Especially with the upcoming 'Dutch' figure of Arnie, which just makes this PF look pretty lame in comparison.

. When PopCultcha told me it was available for Pre-Order, for this price, I told them I'd think about it (yeah, right).Not worth it... yet. I'll wait for this to get cheaper, and then get one from e-bay.
I miss the days when PFs down here retailed for $200-$400.
What a snobby thing to say. I love how when people like something that others think is "trash" or whatever, they have to put down the people who do like it as though there's something wrong with them for it.
Yeh I know! If it was around the $300 mark I'd definetaly be getting it. But not at the price that it's selling for right now. It's extortion!

That's as snobby as your first statement though. You act as though your perspective is the epitomy of judging quality of a piece.
Bottom line is, the statue may not meet your standards for pieces representing Terminator 2, but just because it fails to do that doesn't mean there's no quality there at all.
Collectibles are about personal value, there's never been a piece that every single person collecting has ever 100% agreed upon the quality of it, just doesn't happen.
I've seen people get ecstatic over pieces and I don't get why, but I don't invalidate their opinions either, and I don't feel like I have better taste or whatever.
I might think your most favorite piece on the planet looks like a complete pile of ^^^^, but I would never talk to you like you wouldn't know quality collectibles if it bit you on the ass.
People don't have to like everything, but there can be civility too. I'm all for positive and negative critique of pieces, but I get sick of the bull^^^^ crapping on people's opinions. Both sides on this piece have had their extremes, some people really enjoying it have almost gotten to be like a cult trying to make everyone love it, and people who don't like it have been acting all high and mighty like they're better for not liking it, and it's all bull^^^^, if you like it enjoy and if not, speak your mind about why and have fun with that, but the personal crap need not exist.

My point is about attitudes around here and the fact that discussions about pieces turn into my ^^^^'s bigger than your ^^^^ type arguments and I grow tired of that crap, it's unnecessary.
