I still don't really see a problem with the headsculpt or shoulders even when I try now. :huh
I'm trying to convince myself theres something wrong but its just not a problem in my eyes. In the frst few photos I thought there was for some reason but now I can't see it. Maybe I've become too used to it but now I haven't got a problem.
:banana

I'd like to know what the deal is on the grenades, how many should actually be in the box, did that guy with the recent images get ahold of two PF's and combine them, but sounds like the 2 people we know with the thing in hand have 2 different setups.

:DI knew I'd upset someone.
Don't take it to heart Maulfan, all I'm saying is that some of us like quality over quantity.
I didn't say it was 'trash' either. I just think Sideshow could have done a better job with this statue. That's all.

And you are basing this purely off of pics, which by the way look a million times better than the first pics of the Indy pf and that is a great statue.

My experience is very limited in this "business", but I've learnt that pictures dont mean that much. The life size T800 Arnold bust is a very good example on this cause he looks like crap in almost every picture I've seen, the color on the face looks weird or the angle makes his face look like a mess. I took a chance a while ago and ordered him, even if I wasnt convinced about the pictures I've seen, but what can a man do.. Its Terminator, right?
So one day the bust arrived and HOLY ^^^^^ IS HE AWESOME OR WHAT? Yes, he is, and still the pictures of this bust mostly looks like crap. For all I care the "haters" can say whatever they want about this PF, I dont care until I can see it with my own eyes. Anyway, I'm looking forward to recieve my T800 and happy easter to you :)

Photography is an art, it takes work and care to properly present something the same way you see it in real life. A bad photographer can make Jessical Alba look hideous while a really good one can make her even better than in person.

I'm not critiquing anyone's photo work, I encourage anyone that wants to take and post photos to do so, have fun with your stuff.

All I'm getting at is you have to use photos, particularly casual in hand images at a sight like this, as loose tools to help you assess getting something, 9 out of 10 times the photos you look at probably won't be the best true representation of a piece. One thing I find useful is sites and board members who often post pictures of pieces you buy, you can get to know how the piece in hand differs from their pictures so when they post images of something new you don't have yet, you can go ok, well the pictures of ______ looked different in this way from the collectible on my shelf, so I'm guessing this new piece will look different in these ways.

I got an email back from Sideshow. The belt is white because it was white in the movie.

Are you sure? Check out this scene.

As for the rivets, the size looks okay, but yes the shape is off. They should be relatively flat.

BTW, could this be Jack Black's father?

You sure about that?

As well as how each individual monitor is set up can effect how an image appears.

Well that's a small factor, that more so plays into color quality and how well you can see the image with brightness and all, but the important stuff is all photo based, lighting, angles, zoom. Flash and other overly filled lighting is not how you usually see a collectible, so it takes away detail and form definition, the wrong zoom settings and you can distort proportions.

Lol. Sideshow obviously have obviously never seen T2. Either that or they ae colour blind. These new photos actually make him look very skinny indeed.

not sure how I missed this one he posted. Anyway , there good photos. Pretty much what I expected. The first few make it look alot worse. I'm still getting it and will bulk him up if I need too when he arrives.

Yes, after comparing the last pic to the Sideshow pic, I have no doubt that I will love this PF. A few things. I will be bulking him up a bit, and if the lapels are sewn down, I may cut the thread so they stand up a bit, ala the SS shots. In natural light this will look awesome...especially the head sculpt.
