I got my EX yesterday, opened it and and snapped some pics of him today. I have to say, it is just a fantastic piece. I was surprised to see the EX endo arm actually has real braided line in it, not just a piece of wire.

I got number 283 of 750

The likeness to Arnie is excellent.

This is truly an awesome piece and with a little futzing of his clothes he looks fantastic

The tan belt he has is a total non-issue, if you watch the movie his belt changes colors in almost every scene hes in, it even changes styles a few times. The gap in his arm socket is also one of the most ridiculous gripes Ive ever heard of. Who cares if theres a gap? No one is EVER going to see that...EVER. Adding clay to his back made me LoL also, you now have the new Quasimodo T-800.
To each his own I guess.......

I thought i was going to have to cancel my Ex order as i've had to cancel my credit card but it looks like my mum has come to the rescue and will pay with hers if Sideshow let me. Has anyone else done this before? I'm going to ring them tomorrow as they've given me a few days to contact them before they cancel my order (my old card number obviously got rejected).

I was so excited about getting EX #14. That's the last time I post about being excited about something before unpacking it.

First of all, the arm was cut kind of funny, so when it is "plugged in" to the figure itself, there is a noticeable space. It sits in there very secure, and it matches up with the other hand, but there is still a gap like this:

I'm willing to live with that because there is a sleeve. But still, that's kinda sloppy.

The big problem I have is that on the base, right where the front of the figure stands:

A big ol' chip/paint rub combo.

Seriously, if this were on the back, I'd be able to live with it. But this is right on the front where we look at the figure head on.

I've already emailed the pictures to SS, and I'm awaiting a response. Here's my big question: will SS be able to switch out JUST the base and allow me to keep with EX #14 on the base, or will I have to send it in for another whole figure and another edition number? I'd really like to keep my low number. I also don't want to risk getting a figure that has any more problems. How do you think they will handle this?

Bump. Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas about this situation?

It is a great piece, but when you're paying that much for something, you want it perfect or as near as you can get.

YES !! Arnie Pf is perfect.
The proportions of hes body are perfect in my opinion Worth evry penny.
The 1:1 bust and the arnie pf are the best representations of ARNOLD in the world in my opinion.

I dont know if mine has a gap or not when I put the hand on, because I didnt peel his jacket back to check. The paint rub, sure I would be returning it, but the gap in the arm wouldnt concern me a bit.

Got mine in the UK today from Forbiddenplanet for £150. Bargain and the best pf I own even when compared to my beloved Indy PF! Just to point out my hand fit's in and there's no gap, it's fine if you have a gap as long as the thumb touches the bullet which thankfully mine does, will post pics up in a bit!

As everyone has said on the board, this is seriously a great PF. I just wish i had the space to display mine! He is in the box. i was able to look at him for about 5 minutes and then pack him back up. Hopefully we will be moving soon so i can show him off in his full glory!
