No, what I'm saying is this particular QTVR looks distorted. Now I've seen a lot QTVR's in my day and this is the only one that looked like that.:lol

Yeah, but I have read some other's comment about the QTVR like it was an improved piece blah blah blah and it just amazes me that it isn't obvious it's distorted.

I'm not really sure how this seems to be the only messed up one, but I can't imagine it was with intent, all it alters is the proportions and the other aspects of the piece look lesser in quality than the photos. I'd rather slightly off body shape with a great portrait than right body with an ugly portrait.

I guess we'll be the only ones enjoying this Maul!

This is my finale to high end pieces, so it's not so big and issue to follow through, after this it's just 1/6 scale unless something really special comes out.

I passed on the SSC T2 statue because of the face, I loved from the neck down but the face was too iffy for me to feel great buying the statue for it's price. The face on this thing is so perfect, and the neck down is close enough, I'm really excited. I wanted the statue but just couldn't pull the trigger, and felt like something was missing not having it, when this debuted I thought of it as a second and better chance.

That's a terrible image for comparison. I don't know why, but in all the desert shots, Arnie looked bulkier than other points in the film.

If you look at this shot, I think it's quite clear this point in filming is where SSC based their body shape on, and looking at the PF compared to it, the shoulders are the only really off element I can spot, if they were broader or whatever, I think the PF would pretty much be a dead match for this.

I am with ya 100% sean.
In T2 arnold was not as big as in T1 and that pic shows you that sideshow based the PF on some of those shots.
He looks like he is got no muscles at all.

I'm not trying to be defensive or anything, but really, the desert shots are a bad judgement. I wish I knew background on the filming of T2. Everytime I watch it, his hair and his physical build seem different and it annoys me because the rest of the film he's pretty consistent, maybe he was doing some other project during that part of filming, who knows.

I do know there's points in T2 where Sideshow's PF body is a match. Again, if you look at the T2 picture I posted and the PF, the neck and shoulder area looks to be the main area of issue and it really just looks like they were done separately and they didn't mesh together as well as they could have, but I think some simple stuffing will compensate.

Im with you Maulfan...Love this thing, I can live with a slighty thin Arnie...It doesnt bother me in the least...Besides I dont have a $1000+ for all the other Terminator stuff I missed (ie. the T-800 busts)...

Well I'm a little unhappy with the pics that have been coming in.But I'm going to give this guy a couple of weeks on my shelf since it's a T2 Arnold rather than cancel it now and end up kicking my self if it was just the pics or something minor.

Plus you now know the SSC return option, so you've got that open to you too.

ye buddy, Aus, i was charged $186.41 US for shipping, BUT that was for both King Leonidas and the T800 as they shipped together to save on freight.

But going by past shipments its about $120 odd USD for 1 PF, the T800 box is very tall and rather heavy though.

T-800 Premium Format

Awk thanks man
That helps alot :D

Well compared to beefy Arnie, he does almost look like an average build in that photo, more like just a fit, trim guy, not a body builder though.

Well black and leather will do that to u, it's definitely not the white shirt he was wearing during Twins with Danny Devito :lol:lol:lol

Just for kicks, I did to the real Arnold what I think is going on with the PF, neck meeting the shoulders higher than it should.

Looks to have the same effect to me, the body's the same, but the change in the shoulder area takes the same body mass and takes it from bulky to slender, weird how anatomy does stuff like that.
