nice job Comtech! Now get a shotgun and assault rifle for him and he will be ready to destroy a police station.

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

I'll post this again (and delete the earlier post), since I just learnt how to add photos directly to my posts.

This is my T2 figure. Mainly it's the HT Battle Damaged T-800 figure with minor modifications (head, pants, gloves and boots).
I dont like the head. it's a weak link, a horrible recast of the sideshow sculpt. I found it on eBay and thought I would get it to work.
Was hoping to score a Darren Carnall custom headsculpt, but he is over worked at the moment, so no such luck.

I cant paint for **** so I just bought the Sideshow version mainly for spare parts and to get the head from it. So this is still a work in process...

But sadly I'm starting to think that the NECA 12" Pascadero escape figure will wipe the floor with this kitbash of mine... :(

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

No mods to this Sideshow T-800 apart from a bit of bulking out underneath the clothes with bluetack. Good pose though I think you'll agree.

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

Dayum. Sorry about the size. I'm not used to posting pics. Any way to shrink them after the fact or would I have to do that on my computer and resubmit?

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

Ok. Seems like I'm finally pleased with the figure. I reciewed the sideshow T2 this weekend and swap the head. It made a huge difference to the figure. I think it's finally finished...

Even though I broke the Sideshow T2 neck (while using hot water?) in the process I couldn't be happier with the result.

Closer look.

Broken neck.

. . .

And I'm no longer worried about the NECA 12" figure beating this one...

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

you can still salvage that body. If you take the neck attachment out and put in a small post with a ball on the end, ( similar to the type used by BBI and Hot Toys ) you can use a neck adapter that just pops on .

Ok, thanks. I Didn't realise you could do that. I have never seen this kind of body before.
Do I just pull the hole thing out? Because there still seems to be something holding the "stick"-like piece inside?
Or do I just cut the "stick" (dont know what else to call it) in half? And let the other half fall inside the body?

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

Thought I would throw my hat in. Just finished my custom bandolier the other day. Really proud of my self with it. Came out alot better then I thought it would. I got the grenades off of ebay, so I don't know who made them or where they came from. The bandolier is made of elastic bands is sewn together. If anyone is interested, I'm considering producing these custom for anyone thats interested. Just supply your own grenades.
