Man, everything from T1 and T2 makes everything else look generic and dull in comparison.

Yup, the makeup from 20 years ago somehow looks better.

Exactly, although new JC is a sliiiiight improvement from the one we got on T3

Still, Classic ends at T2 for me, the rest is just generic "expanded universe" type stuff.

Yup, I agree. And T2 is where the "real" story ends for me. I like T3, but I don't look at it as a continuation of the T2 story. To me T3 is like a different universe/multiverse , and that was the earth 2 Terminator.

It's the good thing about the nature of the story, time travel and stuff, it's easier to imagine the rest of the movies as just some other timelines

T3 isn't canon to T2 anyway. In T2, John is 10. In T3 they say he was 13.

I'm still actually looking forward to it believe it or not. Morbid curiosity.

I was fairly scathing with my earlier appraisal of the trailer, but yeah.. I'm still curious too.

the saddest, the worst thing about this trailer is that Arnold is Literally shooting a gun at a character that made him the icon he is today. Arnold is literally shooting a gun at one of the roles he is most famous for.... just for a quick buck.


Imagine if they made Back to the Future 4 and they ask The Doc to do a scene going back in time to 1985 and Shooing his younger self and Marty... Like, going back to Back to the future 1 and just blowing the brains out of one of the characters they both are most recognized for... destroying the plots of the movies people loved so much.

that's just...like, kind of shocking in a way. Arnold blowing the hell out of a movie that so many people call their favorite of his,
he might as well go to the movie premiere for this and just slap every single fan while he is at it


he might as well go back in time in real life and take a dump on James Cameron as he is filming the movie, just crap all over the cameras and all over linda hamilton and michael biehn.... huge dump over everyone

Wait until the movie's over in theaters. It's going to be reminiscent of Nickelodeon's sliming. Except it won't be slime that's poured on people's heads.

Whoa! That's very meta, but unfortunately, that's giving them too much credit since they probably didn't even realized it. Still, that's like some philosophical stuff right there. Maybe he'll stop by B&R and Junior and shoot those versions of him too

Probably something like this.

INT. Agent's Office - DAY

Agent: Hey! How's my favorite client in the world?

Arnold: I'm fantastic! With all the businesses and the Planet Hollywood and all these things!

Agent: Good, good. Damn, you looking big, you've been working out?

Arnold: Lifting all those bags of money keeps me in shape....HAHAHA!

Agent: Well, speaking of bags of money, I'm glad you're here cause I've got a great offer for you, and it's something original, fresh, and unlike anything you have done.

Arnold: I like it already!

Agent: You'd be playing an Austrian research geneticist and the film deals family issues among other.... things. Danny DeVito would be your co-star!

Arnold: Ahh, Danny! I love Danny! We worked on Twins and it made lots and lots of money because we played TWINS and it's funny because he so tiny and I'm so big and strong and people love all these thins thsing Ahah ...!!

Agent: Ok, well yeah. The film is directed and produced by the director of Ghostbusters, Mr. Ivan Reitman.

Arnold: Fantastic!! It keeps getting better and better! Are there any ghost in this one and do I get to stop them using my brain instead of my muscles?


Agent: No, not exactly. It's a ten million dollar offer, Arnold. But there's one more thing, you pretty much have to play a pregnant man, and there's a tiny version of you at some point and you'll be dress like a woman.

Arnold: Like Dustin Hoffman in Tootsie?

Agent: Yes! Just like Tootsie! Dustin Hoffman got an Oscar nomination for that film, so think about it, this could mean a whole different market for you, Arnold.

Arnold: Make it 20 million, and I'll see you at Oscars!
