:lol :lol :lol

What kid doesn't dream of growing up to one day share a naked arm shake with another man.

You can see it in his eyes.

So..

One of THE best Dr Who incarnations to date, has been demoted to 'Sam' from "Different Strokes" ??

Ripped off!!! :lol

Because he is too goofy looking for anything else. :lol

Maybe in the next Hobbit drivel, he can play the wizard with bird **** running down his face.

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

Sylvester McCoy played the 7th Doctor and was in the recent Hobbit movies as a eccentric wizard with a bird nest in his head. And **** down his face. I **** you not. That first one was awful I skipped the rest. LOTR flicks were vastly superior.

:duff Another :duff for adding the accent aigu to "Touché."

What do you think of the Hobbit films, mate?

I actually give the first two Hobbit movies a 10/10. I went into the first thinking that if I give it an 8 then I'd be very happy & never expected to rate it any higher than that. But watching it for the first time was just like being transported back to the soft, comfy cloud that I have reserved in celluloid heaven that is Middle-Earth. I do prefer the LotR trilogy but I love The Hobbit movies too much to even rate them a 9.

I haven't seen The Battle of the Five Armies yet but if this trailer is anything to go by...

... then I should enjoy it. I should be seeing it very soon. I'm waiting for my Uncle & fellow 'Ringer' to get time off work so we can experience it together otherwise I would have seen it by now.

I never thought that I'd experience a perfect 6 film series as I'm quite awkward to please with big budget Hollywood fare but these 'action' movie versions of John Ronald Reuel Tolkien's majestic works of literary art have hit all the right notes, for me.

But I guess the phrase 'don't count your chickens before they hatch' springs to mind as I may be too hyped up for TBotFA in a way that might never happen to me again. So I am trying to reign in my enthusiasm, somewhat. I know that it's, by far, the shortest running time out of the 6 films, which is a bit of a downer, but I'm still expecting nothing short of perfect. Just like the other 5 films have been, again, for me. :)

Thanks for your insight, man. :duff

I'm not the biggest or most knowledgeable Tolkien fan on this board, but I enjoyed the LotR films immensely. To be honest, these Hobbit movies have been something of a grind for me - I'm still making my way through Desolation. :lol

And that's where I'm at as well. In fact, reading your post I think I can say watching that watching all six films is a 10/10 experience even if every individual movie isn't a perfect 10. You've got FOTR as the flawless anchor film and then these five other awesome movies that each bring their own thing to the table.

BOTFA will benefit from the EE.

The version in the theater right now was a fun rollercoaster ride, good character moments and good action scenes.

Only think that would've made it better would've been if 2 naked men stared at each others eyes, then walked towards each other and shook arms.
