That scene alone might be why I'm just preparing for Genysis to just be a straight-up "Batman & Robin." They're really just gonna play that scene straight? Have John and Reese do some inspiring "I'm really pulling for you" moment while one of them is NAKED? That is beyond stupid.
Just picture a similar scene in a REAL movie like the first Terminator or ALIENS. Imagine if for whatever reason Apone had to send Hicks into some strange part of the fusion reactor that for whatever ridiculous reason you couldn't wear clothes to enter. And let's even say that if Hicks didn't do it everyone would die. You'd STILL have both Marines kind of chuckling at the absurdity of the moment, maybe even some whistles or cat calls from the other soldiers. But if Gensysis is all, "okay I'm naked," "well good man, and I just want you to know I really appreciate you," *clasps hands* man, there just won't be enough facepalms.
