I never knew that was Sarah pointing a gun at John all along in those first pics that were posted on the web. Have people been waiting for this "twist" all along?

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

I can't wait to see the heart tugging scene where Sarah pleads with her son to remember when he was human so that he can "fight the programming" or whatever, shed a tear, and then learn the value of human life again or something. Who knows, maybe she'll be with him to the end of the line.

Leaked screenplay says the T-800 sacrifices itself to destroy the John Connor T-5000 and Skynet. Kyle and Sarah say some sappy stuff, but mainly about the T-800. She seems to not really give a **** about having just blown up her future child. No idea if this has survived to the final draft. The 2017 act of the film revolves around 1) John having become an agent of Skynet, 2) travelling back to the 90's to accelerate the pace of Miles and Danny Dyson's research and precipitate a more advanced start for Skynet's war against humanity (assembly lines of T-800's, T-1000's and T-5000's ready to go by 2017 and a time machine) and 3) kill Sarah and Kyle. It's almost a total coincidence they run into him. Final twists are 1) Arnold survives by somehow transferring his program to a blank T-1000 body, 2) film ends with a new T-5000 activating and Skynet having made a backup of itself and the manufacturing facility. It's a horrible convoluted mess that jumps from the future war to 1984 to 1973 to 2017 and possibly other places in between. Almost like Back to the Future if it had been made by Michael Bay.

Almost all the ideas in this film have been recycled from rejected T3 and T4 drafts. Despite it being new screenwriters they're just reheating Brancato and Ferris's leftovers.

Arnold becoming a T-1000?! How then will they continue to rationalise his aged appearance if he could- oh never mind.

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

Wow, with all the leaks and outright attempts the by the studio itself to give away all the twists I can't believe there are elements that are still "spit-take worthy" with each new spoiler that gets posted. :lol

So now we're supposed to believe that the punks in T1 and waitresses in T2 were reacting to a naked guy

with NO genitalia?

:rotfl

Oh man, this just gets better and better.

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

Weird, but to be fair, why would a Terminator need genitals to begin with? Where exactly is the Terminator meeting John that he needs genitals to fool John Connor into thinking that the T 800 is a real boy?

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

But they see people while they're naked, can they risk having someone mention on the news they's a naked roided out dickless dude walking around the city? :lol

Bad tactic.

They don't spend too much time naked. As soon as they arrive they kill someone and steal their pants. Even if he walked around naked, why would anyone think it's a terminator, it could just be that, a naked dude without a dong. Strange, sure, but not enough to think it's a time traveling robot from the future on a mission to destroy humanity...I mean all that from a missing dong? Even Colombo wouldn't make that connection. And if there's already a human from the future like Kyle Reese, he already knows there's a Terminator out there.

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

First, I spoiled the Wells character from The Flash last night by watching the Tricksters episode (haven't watched any of the series yet and only wanted to see Mark Hamill). Second, I started watching all these darn Avengers TV spots because I can't help it. Third I get that freaking out of nowhere Connor spoiler from a regular Terminator Gynocide trailer! WTH Carolco! or whoever owns this franchise now? That 'twist' could have been kept under wraps because I'm guessing that 75% of the people remotely interested in this movie are not scouring the internets looking for plot points or leaked scripts from this movie! There better be some other 'twist' of a 'twist' coming or your all a bunch of T-AH0135!

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

They don't kill unnecessarily, they could also leave many people alive that have seen them.

Sure, those people don't know what is going on, but the news could reach Sarah/Kyle/Whoever may concern and alert them to the possible location of the terminator and other stuff.

If the possibility exists then It's just not good and it's dumb not to have a dong :lol

On the other hand, a naked guy walking around the city is odd enough by itself :lol

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

I read that the real twist of the movie is that

Matt Smith is the real John Connor

:dunno

Lets say that you run into a naked Terminator and he kills a few people and then steals your pants, but he doesn't kill you. Now, it's late at night and you're pant-less and there's a few dead people, are you really going to the news to talk about that, knowing that this unstoppable naked dongless "man" is out there, wearing your pants and he has your wallet? :lol

But I get it, if Skynet is making a robot that looks like a human, they might as well go all the way and make him a real boy.
