Re: Terminator: Genesis (July 1st, 2015)

I don't believe that all the T800s look like Arnold, but since they are covered in human tissue, I can't understand why it's so hard to believe that it would age. Human tissue grows, the cells divide and it decays, so eventually it will rot.

I think that Arnold will be playing the same T800 from T1. I think something will be done to alter that original movies timeline, and the terminator will never catch up to them. So this picks up years later, explaining why Arnold has aged. So, I think we will be looking forward to that same badass T800 from the first movie. Ruthless, and deadly.

I don't think they'll have the guts to make Arnold a villain again. At least not for the whole film. What Arnold says suggests that there'll be reprogramming involved, I'm guessing that reprogramming will be towards the side of Sarah/John Connor and he'll probably close out the film that way.

I remember getting excited when they said about T3 that the TX would be able to reprogram other Terminators and look how that turned out - zombie movement internally conflicted Terminator. So we didn't truly get Arnold as a 'bad' Terminator there. But heck, without Cameron directing, he even forgot how to to play a 'good' Terminator - all the robotic jerky C-3PO head movements, the quipping (without any learning context) etc. I expect more of the same in Terminator Genesis.

I've got a feeling that this Terminator Genesis will be more entertaining to watch, when all is said and done:

I honestly figured the only solution was to have Ahnuld CGI'd to look young again. Sure the young make up was a disaster in the Xmen movie, but I loved CGI Ahnuld cameo in Salvation.......just the cameo, not the movie...and that looked decent

My main problem with CGI Arnold was that the bodybuilder they chose to play his body wasn't built like him at all. Should of just did a full body recreation.

The CGI Arnie in Salvation looked like he was about to turn green and into the Hulk
