Would be cool if HT Guardian Arnie had an exclusive Teddy bear.

a-dev I don't think Reese was "wrong" in T1 at all. I no longer think it's supposed to be connected to Genisys. I see it as a full reboot. T1 and T2 will never have "feeling" Terminators. But Genisys? Well, they pulled it off (IMO) so why not.
It's been a while since I've watched the first ASM but I remember people complaing that the first half was like a scene by scene recreation of Raimi's first film then it kind of shifts with all the Lizard stuff. I think that's what Genisys really is but that they did it more cleverly than ASM. An overlapping reboot of sorts.
There was, but Mario Puzo died and Coppola didn't want to make the movie without him.
And I think that Jai Courtney would be a really bad choice for Sonny Playing a ****** wouldn't automatically make him right for the role. James Caan played Sonny with real energy and inner violence. I doubt Courtney could ever achieve something like that. It'd be another situation like this movie where he just doesn't feel like the Kyle Reese of T1.
He had a couple of decent emotions.
Oh, he's THAT ****** from that ****** series. Destined to be forgotten like The Warriors and Streets of Fire.
Even more hate swells now.
I can't really wrap my head around that to be honest. It's almost in the same league as trying to decipher all the timelines.
I just hate the idea of the T-800 having feelings. That's awful. "My Sarah" is groan worthy, especially when it doesn't even get destroyed!
They were programmed to fulfill their missions. Acting human and blending in with society is a good way to kill or protect your mission priority, that's one thing, but actually becoming human? **** that noise.

Remember when Man of Steel came out everyone wanted them to keep the Williams theme even though it was literally a full reboot? I kind of see Genisys that way. It *does* keep a lot of the original music (to a fault as we've already discussed) and Arnold is just another common theme. I don't know. It feels like a reboot to me (at least right now) but one that you're supposed to watch after seeing T1 and T2. Or something.
Either way I just like how it "is." Whatever "it" actually is.
If Pops can learn to feel, maybe you can too DiFabio.
Dun nun nun...NUN nun nunnnnn...dun nun nun...nun nun NUN nunnnnn.....
I still don't know why Skynet or his Dr. Who agent in 2029 is ****ing around with 1984 or 2017 or whatever.
Okay, so the resistance ended up not destroying the defense grid at Skynet's complex. Dr. Who agent guy killed off John's entire team, and turned John into a ****ing robot. Sounds like a victory to me? Skynet just killed all of the higher ups in the war and John ****ing Connor. Why does it have to mess around with the past if it's just going to trick everyone. BETTER yet, why the hell didn't Dr. Who, Skynet guy just kill everyone as they were prepping Reese? That way, Reese doesn't go back and everyone in the room dies.
In the Cameron movies, sending Terminators back is Skynet's last resort. In Genisys, I don't even know. Any time Skynet is given a face and humanity *cough* Salvation lady Skynet *cough* it really takes away from it being this master computer that's also a faceless sentient being. I always pictured Skynet as being like the ultimate HAL-9000. Not Tim Burton's **** toy or an annoying kid hologram or Dr. Who guy.
