Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

Just read an article that kinda spoil the whole movie with images from the teaser.
Well that could be fun. At least they are trying something new.
You can use google translated

Sounds fascinating I have to say. More interesting than T3 at any rate. It'll probably be a cluster**** but I'm definitely gonna see this at the cinema.

Reading that article again are they saying that the 1984 T-800 will be immediately captured, brought back to the future and reprogrammed and then sent to the T2 timeline, thereby becoming uncle Bob and my head just exploded.

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

I actually like what I read, I don't know if the movie will suck or not but it seems like it will at the very least be a fun movie to watch.

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

So basically they will be travelling back and forth as they wish.
Well I like the fact that they are bending the rules.
Should be interesting to watch.

Definitely has my attention. Doesn't sound like the redundant T3 or incoherent TS. At least Cameron's films are self contained no matter where this thing goes.

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

Looks like they are trying make alternate universe ala day of future past

At least they try something new there, gonna watch it

One of the things I hated about T3 was how chatty the T-850 was, so many lines, so much exposition. Sadly I can see that being the case again in this film especially if the plot is as much of a web as that article makes it seem. Think of the amount of stuff old Arnie is gonna have to explain to the other characters. ****.

I'd rather have a different character from the future do all that - like John Connor, Reese or indeed Kyle Connor if that isn't bullcrap - while the T-800 keeps his mouth shut for the most part unless directly asked a question - ala T1 and T2.

Seems whacked as hell. "Kyle Connor"? Wut?

I'm intrigued and kind of excited though, even if this is crazy. Sounds more interesting than T3 and Salvation atleast in premise alone.

Agreed - let's pray.

Don't care for the plot. Franchise has died with T2.
All I need is an old ass Terminator making fun of the entire thing. Only then I'd be interested.

:lol:lol:lol:lol

But seriously, that's the only way I could tolerate "The Terminator" starring awful Emilia Clarke and terrible Jai Courtney.

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

Well the T-850 was a grumpy Terminator. Maybe this one will be get off my lawn grumpy.

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

Random biker: "Lemme guess, you need my clothes, my boots and my motorcycle?"

Old Ass Arnie Terminator: "No, I need to use your facilities. My bladda feels about thees BEEG."
