Yeah, that could be an interesting show.

I still want them to make a series from The Lost Room!!!! That was maybe the best show SyFy has had except for BSG.

I really liked The Lost Room. I was hoping they'd do a full series but it never happened. From the previews I've seen, Warehouse 13 reminds me of it.

So they had the dog there to show it was Allison John saw at the end.
If I where him I would like to get to know her as a sort of connection to the past. I'm sure they will get close and at some point she will be captured and copied (and killed) then pre-Cameron will wear the human-identifying bracelet and try to kill John, which he knows will happen, (but not exactly when) and reprograms it to Cameron.

Hmmm. But as he knows this will happen, wouldn't he protect Allison so she wont be captured and killed? Or not getting close to her so Skynet has no reason to copy her? And if so Cameron will never be sent back in time and......
Timetravel is a bi:horrorh. Let's just say he will fail saving Allison anyway.

One thing I thought of, how old would Dyson's son be in 2009 to be creating Skynet? He wasn't that old in T2. 16?20?

 Next weekend by this time I will have met and hugged Summer Glau. :naughty Again. :banana

Well I am gad they canceled it if Johns relationship with Cameron was going to go "further" in the next season.

he said they're thinking about it. it's a maybe. In talks. That is very far from 'they're doing a movie'

just don't want people getting over excited too early lol

although we did get several Stargate movies. (granted, from a MUCH more successful program)

I liked this show but for the odd nitpick. However one bit I hate that was in every episode was the Sarah connor narrated intro - "In the future my son will lead mankind in a war against Skynet, the computer system programmed to destroy the world. It has sent machines back through time - some to kill him, one to protect him...." It has the first part right but I'm pretty sure Skynet wasn't programmed to destroy the world! Furthermore it suggests, by its lack of clarification on the matter, that Skynet sent back Cameron to protect John Connor. Read the quote again - it actually says that Skynet sent the protector.

It wasn't every episode. They ditched all that crap for the second season. Hurray, right?

the one thing that bugged me the most was Cromartie's endoskeleton skull coming through with Sarah and John through the time displacement field. Most of the series after that was better though. I sure wish it was on TV rather than Dollhouse, that's for f'n sure.

Maybe there was a reason they said that but never got to finish it because the show was canceled. :dunno

:lol yeah I just moved onto the second season last night and discovered that. And Something Sexy I think it was just lack of thinking it through rather than part of any possible plan for a future explanation that Skynet itself actually did send Cameron. I really think it was intended only as a "Previously in the Terminator Franchise" type thing for the uninitiated.

Thats one of my nitpicks. I'd also give mention to these:

-In the pilot Cromartie's dramatic pause when he has John in his gunsight that allows Cameron to run him over in a jeep. Why would a machine hesitate? Indeed, the one that killed Derek in season 2 certainly didn't stop for a dramatic effect. Inconsistent. However the films are also guilty of this, particularly T4.

-the silliness of Sarah's lack of understanding of mobile phones as though she comes from a time when no phones whatsoever exist.

-Also in an episode I watched last night Ellison watched archived footage of Sarah and Dr. Silberman at Pescadero hospital where she goes mental and attacks Silberman for no discernible reason. I think it was trying to replicate the scene in T2 but it doesn't work because in the film she had just been found out on telling Silberman what he wanted to hear and he took away any chance she had of even seeing John for the next 6 months or something. However in this episode of the show Silberman doesn't even say anything and Sarah is shown in her doom-mongering mood and then she just escalates things for no apparent reason. No wonder they thought she was mental.

-when they hack a T-888's chip and access his recorded data of everything he saw why did it all play out as normal human vision rather than Termi-vision?

-Why do all terminators walk after their targets? Surely running would provide a better guarantee of success. Again, the films are also guilty of this.
