Now THAT would be f'n kool Dek. :lol

Actually, I'd like to find a green bag and figure out how to make some pipe bombs, may have to hit the hardware store for those...

Pipe bombs would be really easy to make with styrene tube. You can even get tube caps.

I know she has her own thread, but Sarah needs to be with the Terminators.

:D

Well technically they made her become a "human" Terminator.

Re: Official Terminator thread.

She's gonna look great with T-1000 and T-800... and the ENDO... and Reese, and Pescy Sarah... and... :D

BTW, anybody see that little Dragon "Hitler Youth" kid -- there's your John Connor brat.

Now THAT is appropriate!

Thanks DBoz, I have chrome paint too! Is this something we can find at a Hardware Store?

Re: Official Terminator thread.

BREAKING NEWS!

More 'Terminator' on the way
In a move that puts three more installments of "Terminator" on a fast track, newly formed The Halcyon Company has bought out all rights to the cyborg franchise from C2 partners Mario Kassar and Andy Vajna for an undisclosed amount.

Re: Official Terminator thread.

That's cool news, but at this point, unless it's future war stories with Endoskeletons, I don't think I'd be too interested. As far as human Terminators, it wouldn't be the same without Arnold for me.

No Biehn, no deal.

I hadn't thought about how Reese could be included in future war stories. Biehn doesn't look the same now, but he stll looks alright for his age, and as Anthony Hopkins showed in Red Dragon, even if you don't look just like you did in the past film, it's your performance, and I think Biehn could still deliver Reese as he did in '84.

Re: Official Terminator thread.

Biehn could return and they could digitally de-age him. Consider it part of the FX budget.

Re: Official Terminator thread.

I don't think you'd have to work the age off his face, it wouldn't be about needing to see him look young, it'd be about seeing a story involving Reese being the soldier T1 showed him to be. If the film were done well, I wouldn't care if his appearance didn't sync with T1.

Well I do. Wouldn't take much to digitally touch him up. If they can touch up Kevin Costner's receeding hairline in Waterworld, they can make Biehn look like he's 20-something again.

You can get styrene tube at most model/hobby stores. The two big manufacturers are Evergreen and Plastruct. The best place I've found to order from online is www.walthers.com. They carry the whole Plastruct line. Basically you would need like a piece of 3/16" tubing, two smaller pieces of 1/4" or 3/8" tubing (whichever would slide over the 3/16) and two end caps for the larger diameter tube. I'm at work now, so these are guesstimates as far as the measurements. Here's what the end caps look like: https://www.plastruct.com/Pages/OnlineProductDetail.lasso?-op='eq'&CCode=PC-8

You can order direct from Plastruct, but they have a minimum order of $20. I would find what you want at Plastruct and then order from Walthers. I'll see if I can throw something together with some styrene I have at home later tonight as an example. I don't have any end caps, so you will have to use your imagination for that.

Re: Official Terminator thread.

DBoz, have I ever told you how much you totally rock! :rock2

Yeah, I'm doing a custom "Later Battle" Kyle so when those Endos ship, I'll need these for final battle scenes...

Plus T1 Sarah will need them too. Did she ever throw them in the tunnel? I forget, maybe she was just driving. Anyway, need them!

I actually have those Plastruct styrene tubes. I use them for protective sheath covers for my cathode lightsabers. I'm sure I could make some pipe-bombs quite easily with them. How many do you need, p?

Why, thank you.

Sarah was driving in the tunnel.

A bagful. :lol I'll paint them, I have testors Chrome spray (thanks to dekdave)

Seriously, for posing? A bagful because I'll have to find a bag...

but I don't want to be a burden. I think Kyle and Sarah made around 10 at the Tiki but 5 is fine. Hey, I'll take 1 and be happy!

I wonder how long Dek will take to pipe in here?! :lol

Re: Official Terminator thread.

Well I think I could cut up 1 or 2 tubes into the right sizes for a dozen or so pipe-bombs. I'll go to Caboose Hobbies where I get them and see if they sell the end caps.
