Yeah dude, you need to chill. That being said...what the hell is an "aesthetically sound opinion"? I mean..I understand the WORDS...but by definition an opinion is a subjectively derived impression of the subject in question. By saying your opinion is "aesthetically sound" you point out that based on sensory perception your opinion is correct. Since a person with the opposite view point would also find his opinion to be aesthetically sound based on his sensory perception...you basically just stated that you agree with your own opinion.

All I meant was that that the quality of Sideshow's Thanos is more aesthetically pleasing, professional, & refined IMO. Yes art is subjective, but that does not mean that the same character, in virtually the same pose cannot be compared & critiqued, as the Bowen supporters have voiced.

When SSC even comes CLOSE to putting out as many Marvel pieces as Bowen has, then we can talk about them still being fresh and original. Hell, SSC is soooo fresh and original that they basically copied the EXACT same pose of Thanos for their dio. Yeah....their just full of original ideas. If you can't see this, just go to any art school and they can tell you just how similar the 2 statues look.

So in your opinion quantity = quality? And if you think these two sculpts are similar, & of the same quality(?), (excluding pose), god bless you my friend. With this piece, Sideshow simply built a better mouse trap.

That's not true at all. Ironically, I cannot tell you the many times that Sideshow has deleted my comments, because yes, they have screwed-up some potentially major characters. And for the record, my critiques were always detailed, civil, constructive, & to the point, no lame comments ever. They only retain my comments when they are showered with praise, go figure. As for being a " my way or highway guy" that's simply bull. You're the one who got all bent out of shape because I dared state the obvious, that The Sideshow Thanos is vastly superior to Bowen's in every way. Again, that's just my opinion, live with it, & have a nice life.

If God's gift to collecting dares to proclaim that the SS Thanos is superior to Bowen's in every way there is no need for further discussion. Because if something is obvious to Divo, then it should be obvious to everyone.

P.S. Divo, you appear to have illustrated a remarkably poor insight into how your behavior might have contributed to you being rejected by others in this thread. Should you wish to turn things around for yourself, you'll likely need to start with realizing that you do not speak for anyone else but yourself. What I meant by my statement is that Bowen has put out many more statues than SSC. How many different or original poses can a company put out if they have released as many statues as Bowen has? Sooner or later, fresh poses become harder to achieve. Just look at SSC. They copied Bowen's Thanos almost exactly, but I don't see you complaining about a lack of originality by SSC. Instead... you go on about mouse traps!
