Mad Titan, do you have the rest of the comics on how the 5 gems were acquired? Thanks for posting that one up.
It is two books Toe and they are both great reads. Thanos Quest part I and II. My favorite "trick" he uses is to get the soul gem from the In-Betweener.
Who drew Thanos Quest?
Ron Lim

The art was bad ass, it has a certain Ditkoesque feel at times.
I was lucky enough to get Ron to sketch a Gamora when I was at comic con. Also bought some original art from Infinity Quest.
You pretty much nailed it, Shai.
1. Thanos Quest
2. Infinity Gauntlet
3. Infinity Wars
4. Infinity Crusade
5. Cosmic Powers
6. Avengers - Celestial Quest
7. Infinity Abyss
8. Marvel Universe - The End
9. Thanos (by Jim Starlin, then Ron Lim)
10. Annihilation
You guys need to add one more:
Collects the Lim Silver Surfer issues leading up to Thanos Quest (current printing also inludes Thanos Quest as well). It's pretty much required reading IMO!
