It's official, ash just posted that there's going to be a threea, hot toys collab. Wonder what license it will be?

Color me surprised. I wonder if it's just going to be license sharing ala Sideshow and Hot Toys.

I can't really see it being Hot Toys making something ThreeA. I would guess it's ThreeA making something under a Hot Toys license. It could be anything but I don't see Hot Toys really doing any of Ash's designs. I don't know what they could bring to the table.

Typically I'd say Hot Toys is a lot better at doing complex scale stuff than ThreeA is but ThreeA has made some pretty huge leaps in product complexity lately.

That would be very cool. I'd LOVE a 1/6 scale ThreeA style Psycho Mantis.

Maybe they'll collaborate on a Metal Gear Solid figure...

Exactly what i was thinking. Since hot toys hasnt shown a mgs figure yet and since ash said they cannot do figures of mgs about a month ago, maybe they reached an agreement. 1/12 mgs figures by threea would be amazing.

hot toys + 3A? I dont know, its leaving a bad taste in my mouth ATM. They are both great toy companies but each has their own distinct styles and I really dont want to see something that's a mix of the 2 styles. Real life skin tone TK and TQs.....3A style 89 batman? If they do work on something together, I hope its just sharing licenses or some such that does not blend their styles.

I'd like to get one of the 1/6th robots, preferrable a Bramble, from WWR. I know there are many and some are very rare. Could anyone recommend one to me that is fairly common? Thanks for the help.

I have done some research, but would like to know more before I proceed.

Any of the Heavy Brambles will be way easier to get than the regular MK2's

I feel the same & I love Hot Toys & 3A, there the two company's I pretty much just collect from for this hobby but I don't like the thought of a collaboration, there just two completely different styles. I'm hoping it will just be a licence share which some are already guessing.

MGS is the most likely franchise for HT and Threea to share.
The mind boggles though.
Only doubt I have is the clash of styles of the 2 companies....
