You need to travel to the past. Or wait till they're released and try to buy one on the secondary market.

picked this up off the 3A forums.. straight from Ashley Wood

Ashley pointing out the difference between Classic TK line and 7 Bones. So again, 7 Bones are characters from Popbot Universe and TK Classic is a line of Popbot toys, where TK , TQs and probably some other characters will be releases. So in case of Wasabi TK, he is part of Classic TK line and member of 7 Bones.
"its merely a name to sell single TKs under, nothing more, its nothing but a name I like.
Over time all the 7B will be released under this line. Not to be re-released any other way ever !"

thx dude... for someone who is not into 3a stuff its really hard to find a way through this kind of story parts/toy lines/faction what so ever... but also interesting to find out more and more!

Especially with story, he's writing any story that goes along with the toys as he goes so we're sort of seeing the writing process.

agreed, and since Ashley Wood is pretty much making the story up as he goes along, you have to expect some backtracking and revisions along the way.

Particularly as story is seems to sometimes be expanded or changed depending on what products he can make. Like the TK and dePlume stories have possibly been significantly expanded due to the success of the toys.

I'm pretty sure he's stated that is the case with the TKs which he never expected to be popular.

I'm still really annoyed by Midas going up this Thursday. With Ambush just now shipping to the US it is like they want to make sure hype for him is high, but not legit as we still have no idea if it was a good figure outside the rather convenient user who got one early and posts really nice pictures of it so soon before the Midas sale. Couldn't they have shipped out Ambush last week so he arrives a day or two before Midas goes on sale? Would have been so perfect. Instead they have all their fans by the balls, as usual.

Ambush review.. It looks pretty good..can't read the text but the pics say a ton!
takes a bit for the page to load

ThreeA lives for Variants. But sometimes it's that one variant that grabs you and you want that one over the others.

For example, out of all the Little Shadows, the one i want most is Frosty.

Anyone getting Midas today? I will not because it doesn't fit in with my collecting tastes (or my budget--who am I kidding lol), but just curious. ^_^

real steel is not my cup of tea so I'll pass. But I like that ambush and midas are good indicators of what 3A will do with the remaining ABC warriors which I want to complete. Hammerstein, joe, black blood. Can't wait for 3A get around to them. :)

the prices are ok for me as Im from India, a 220 $ Ht cost me another 60$ in shipping , so at 290$ pretty good value for me instead of HT

Yeah I can't see myself buying many Hot Toys figures down the road anymore, which I am happy about since they are so overpriced and so often underwhelming.

I do plan to get Midas today. Wish he dropped a month from now, but getting him now with the discount and free shipping saved a whole lot of money. Plus I need someone to pose with Ambush. I have plenty of 1/6 humans to hold the controllers so it will make for an awesome display.

Yes. I dunno about being "underwhelming", but you know, I am actually happy and relieved that I am now finally done with Hot Toys.
