Took longer than I wanted it to, but finally finished my BD Cameron. Pictures could have been better, but, oh well, maybe I'll take some more later. Obviously, I did a lot of work on the jacket, slightly changing the color, painting the zipper, and doing all the battle damage. Belt was made by me. Don't remember how many studs I put on, maybe around 200. I also did the boots. Took a lot of pausing the blu-ray to figure out the details on them. Anyway, really happy with it.

Looks fantastic! Do you remember what belt you used? Mine is too thin.

Looks great! I still haven't done the battle-damage work on mine. Plus, I need to get those studs for the belt and boots.

I bought the studs off eBay, the squared and circle ones. I can look up my history if you want.

nice job on the Cameron. if I had the spare time could get another kumik head (non battle damage) to do a Cameron from the carbomb but would need to hunt down appropriate clothing.

The big interview with Cameron. Looks like a new Terminator film might be coming sooner than expected.. :horror

That was painful to watch. Jim was a pretty good sport though. The guy interviewing him had the personality of a rock. Curious to see what direction they take this new terminator film. I think going back to a hard R rating would certainly be a step in the right direction.

From what I'm understanding, Cameron would rather work out a deal with the current rights holder, I don't get the impression that he cares about the property other than to receive royalties.

If he had any sort of plans to further the franchise, he shouldn't be so open to any propositions by the studios that made the last film. He seems more keen on future Avatar installments more than anything else.

Of course Cameron doesn't want to commit to Terminator anymore. He's stated that it's nothing but Avatar from here on out. In fact he's been saying that since early 2010. I'm not sure what type of money or royalties he received from Genisys or will receive from any other future Terminator releases, but I find it very hard to believe that's the driving force behind his propositions. He's got more money than he even knows what to do with, and having his name/credibility attached to these films isnt helping Jim, but more so skydance.

I believe this is the best thread for posting my Terminator item.
I bought this on internet and i got it today at my place...
I hope you like the item just the way i do :clap

Looks great...a statue though. I mean better that it's mixed media than plain polystone or whatever but still - it's fixed into the usual incorrect pose for using the minigun! And I'm sure this will cost a fortune, right?

What exactly isn't correct about the pose?

The statue makes the extremely common mistake of assuming he held the gun at waist level. In the movie he held it up at chest level when he was actually firing the gun....which I assume is what they intend.

I would say for the most part that's true, but here's a shot where he's clearly firing it from the waist level.

It's overly neat looking. On the plus side at least they didn't sculpt it such that the back of his head is puffing out in all directions like Hot Toys or Enterbay V1.

I kinda like it, but as a-dev pointed out, some shots in certain lighting make it look weird. It gives him a grumpy cat look. Although the close up shots without the top down lighting, makes it arguably the best T2 Arnold yet. It's just that damn hair is too short in the front.

I just noticed on the base, it has Endo bicep/triceps all around it :lol
