Darn. Is the bundle cancelled or something?

I don't know if it's officially cancelled, but Amazon asked me to confirm that I still wanted it a month or two ago. After confirming I still wanted the order, I didn't hear anything from them until the cancellation notice today. Now the site shows it as "Currently Unavailable".

You've just compelled me to look around. Apparently it might get cancelled outright.

Still though, it wouldn't bum me out as much if I had an awesome full sized Endoskeleton replica waiting for me when I get home. :monkey3

:lol I know, I know. It's kinda hard to get mad about missing out on the arm when the entire thing is standing in my office. It was a good deal on the arm though. :monkey3

:lol :lol Some people can ***** about the Genisys Endoskeleton all they want, but I like it. No one that sees it knows the difference anyway. Plus, I have a 1:1 Endoskeleton that doesn't lean like another company's. :monkey3

It was prone to leaning and a bunch of them arrived with broken pieces. Then the replacements would arrive broken as well. There have been a few threads on here dedicated to it. I was thinking about getting one until I did some research on it.

I used to think that Terminator's lack of relevance was due to the crappy sequels tainting the franchise but now that the near perfect BR 2049 has bombed at the box office I'm inclined to think that modern audiences just aren't interested in any resurgence of 80's sci-fi, regardless of the quality. Terminator 6 will be a tough sell unless they can market it as more "cbm-esque" than sci-fi. The Deadpool director might actually be just what the franchise needs (from a box office standpoint, not quality obviously.)

Wouldn't Genisys qualify as cbm-like? Seems like it would have to be cbm-like and legitimately good - I'm not sure that's possible for a Terminator movie.

Yeah I thought about that after posting. Genisys did have the Thor 2 director and PG-13 rating but it seemed like they really tried to sell it as a retro 80's Terminator flick. Old school actioners like John Wick/The Accountant/The Foreigner do well enough but only because they have such small budgets. If John Wick had a $150 million budget then it too would have bombed.

Exactly-
lower budgets sure help make a movie a hit.
Terminator 6 will probably cost $200 million with Cameron involved and will bomb

It doesn't even occur to them to just write a single standalone movie anymore does it. ''If this one isn't critically and commercially successful we won't get to finish our story'' - yeah no ***t! But hey it only happened exactly like that for the last two out of two times that they tried to revive Terminator.
