DID likeness isn't great IMO, but it might be a cheaper option to pick up an extra body and outfit for the HT helmet sculpt.

I agree that the Hot Toys likeness is better.

I missed out on the Hot Toys release so this 3rd party version might be a cheaper alternative for me at $130-ish.

What does the Hot Toys version typically sell for currently?

It depends, but usually around $275-300. You can find deals out there if you're patient though.

My custom 1/6 scale figure of the T-888 Cromartie from the Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Looks awesome! I love how Cromartie is extremely resourceful, Pops from Genesys had to wait 20 years to regrow an arm. :slap

I really dig that Guardian. I've often wondered how he killed a T-1000 with a RPG, when it would just regenerate. That's one of many things that don't make any sense in that moofie.

Nice range of customs HOTF!

As to Snake's post - maybe Pops knew he wouldn't be able to kill it but if he could blow it apart to a large degree it would take more time to regenerate and thus couldn't pursue. Still, he'd wanna be damn sure that he hit the target (and didn't inadvertently kill Sarah in the process). Risky. I would have brought some regular guns aswell.

I did find it somewhat cool that Genisys had the scenario where 2 Terminators end up battling eachother (or evading) over a course of years as opposed to just a couple of days and nights as in T1 and T2. Presumably during this time they figured out a likely way to destroy a T-1000 - hence their acid trap. That said I don't know why it would have taken that long to come to the conclusion that a T-1000 could be melted.

I wonder if the T2 T-800 realised that they could kill the T-1000 that way. Surely he should have been able to guess that even if it had never been done. The film doesn't give you the impression he has any idea though.

I could be wrong but I always understood it as being the same T-1000 that does from the acid trap.

That's my favourite of those. I think it would be amazing, albeit arguably a bit wasteful, to put an actual endoskeleton figure underneath those clothes.

That was another nifty idea in TSCC - kinda like a 'what if' the T-800 from T1 was not destroyed in that factory but Sarah still escaped - what would he have to do to continue his mission when his human camouflage has been completely stripped away.
