Thats what I'm thinking as well. I mentioned during the dinner how badly we wanted more 1:6th Dead and let them know there is a demand for it.

i'm hoping neither. that this is just a new site for "THE DEAD" and they'll be adding stuff here for each and every figure released previously. And that it's just the page for the existing babysitter figure.

Don't think its anything more than a story to be honest.

exactly... which reminds me, i kinda want to transplant my babysitter to a different body.. i hate her arms.

Did they take down all of their Dead 12" pages?

EDIT: Nevermind, just looks like they don't have that as a product type in the "The Dead Product Areas"

You mean the inconsistent story that barely made sense and was all but abandomed when they started PFs and LSBs and got completely flushed when they jumped the shark for the medieval garbage? That story? That's gonna be harder to follow up than Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes. :lol

agreed. For some reason sideshow seems to think the PF and other pieces will sell better for zombies. no idea why. that mentality needs to go away, and stop slowly creeping into other lines, like GI joe.

I agree with you Josh. I think right now it is just a site to put together their story for The Dead. I see them using old and new stuff to make the story.

Right they will use some old and new to make it all work. I do expect to see some new 1:6th dead in the future based on what I took away from the freaks party.

This will lead to all of it being brought together thats why you have videos for the UC and the Baby sitter. I've said I like the way the Templar looks but I'm not anti statue either. Now, will I buy it despite me thinking it was awesome at comic-con? No, my dead buying is limited to 1:6th but I can appreciate the concept and the work put into it. I think based on what was said at the party how they will be making this all work should be pretty cool.

Because there might be people that want them in that format. Which is cool and if you can sell to those folks its a smart move. Having a PF line for a license doesn't mean instant death for another.

Bummer too since the last few figures were some of the best work... the Punk and Butcher are really kickass :rock

don't misunderstand. I'm fine with cross-marketing and muti-platform release. but to abandon one completely in favor of another, i think was a bad decision.

Which WAS what happened for a while. the 1/6th line faltered, so they stopped making them. I was of the impression that they wouldn't be making any more 1/6th dead.

If you're right, I'm glad to be mistaken.

Well, they didn't leave it for the PF's they know all the variants is what killed the 1:6th at that time. When they come back to it I do believe they will take a much different approach. At least thats the impression I got at comic-con.
