Well, they didn't leave it for the PF's they know all the variants is what killed the 1:6th at that time. When they come back to it I do believe they will take a much different approach. At least thats the impression I got at comic-con.

I'm sure they will. $200 Abe Lincoln zombies. :monkey1

The last few zombies did not have variants and all seemed to sell well... but whatever. I hope we see more from the 1/6 line but if not they had a good run and I enjoy the figures I got from it :rock

Not really. Punk sold well, but the Butcher and Priest rotted on the website (afterburn from the Variant disaster). They were giving Butchers away left and right a couple spooks ago. I'm surprised Priest's no longer up.

I only have one 1/6 fig. -- the Street Prophet -- but would buy others if they continued the line.

The 1/6 line, that is.

Priest is where the price jump happened. Street Prophet and Mall Santa were the last before him and they were $60. Priest was $75. Butcher was $80. Punk was $80. Also, a lot of people hated the Pro being used for zombies.

Really... I didn't remember the Butcher being slow seller at all. I thought it was pretty much gone after the con?

Well, nevermind then :lol

there is no better time than right now for ssc to jump back to 1/6th zombies with the popularity of TWD.

zombies are serious business.........:lecture

No 1/6 no care.

:lol...............i thought that was you who said that.

dammit ssc..........go back to the buck, no variants, lower edition sizes, & crank out some killer sculpts like you can/have. we are here ready to buy them. ditch all that other nonsense.

Fixed for accuracy. I don't think TWD is going to inspire people to pick up Civil War, or Genghis Kahn zombies. :monkey1

I'd be fine with a mixture of both to be honest... and if the idea of an ancient/historical zombie really twists your ******* you could always pretend they were at a costume party when they were turned.

yeaah... history zombie is no less silly (IMO) than zombie santa.

Only works until the majority look like there was a breakout at a Halloween party. :lol

When you're ready to buy I'll keep you mind for my set. If they don't do something soon it want even matter if they start back up in a year or two, I'll have lost interest.

I hope this is the best place to post this. (I do wish there were more 1/6 scale zombie figures like Sideshow's The Dead figures.)

I tried to make a 1/6 scale Fido Zombie figure.

Of course, it is not 100% movie accurate. My work is not the best, but it is the best I could do.

I added flickering LEDs into the head/collar/neck to make it look like it was failing to control him.

Special thanks to Adam at https://www.adamscustommodels.com/.
I was able to use parts from his model kit creation inspired by the movie Fido. You can find the model ("A Boy's Best Friend... is his Zombie!") on his website.
