I don't know why everyone keeps saying The Dead 1/6 is done. The Josh said when he talked to the Sideshow guys at dinner, they told him they were going to make more. And those Sideshow guys have been very nice to The Josh.

So I mean, it seems pretty obvious that Sideshow will make more Dead in 1/6.

Sideshow said in late 2010 that big things would be happening with them and Universal Monsters, an "exciting resurrection":

Q. Is a Son of Frankenstein Silver Screen Edition in the works?

A. With regards to Universal Monsters at large…it’s been long understood that it’s been a Sideshow staple and you can expect and exciting resurrection of that in late 2010. Son of Frank – duly noted.

You know what "exciting resurrection" happened? They axed the license. With extreme prejudice I might ad, eliminating just about all the UM product from their website. :lol

"Superfan" aspect aside, Josh is a collector just like us. He's a bit overzealous when they tell him things will be happening and they don't (like Indy 1/6), and often takes slants against Sideshow as personal slants against employees who he knows and loves (even though they're not). In the end, the only time to believe they're doing something is when you see it with your own two eyes. Until then, regardless of who says it, it's a rumor.

Hmm, bummer. I guess I need to be more over the top in my sarcasm next time.

I mean, come on though, look at my join date, you know I've been around long enough to become extremely jaded by this whole hobby.

I get that, but given we already have a large flux of newbs and now the Spawn boards are down and we'll likely see a huge bump, I don't wanna see a bunch of, "Josh said it's happening!" posts. Preemptive nip in the ass post. :wink1::lol

I was hoping to at least get $250, so the final price was a welcome surprise. All of the ones I listed (even though they were opened) all still sold for above retail, some quite a bit over, so I can't complain.
