Enjoying the movie has nothing to do with judging it by its merits.

Don't worry about the kids, they won't like anything unless it's got a Call of Duty tie-in somewhere.

First couple Raimi Spiderman films made Spidey the almost guaranteed blockbuster force he is now in the movies. The third one had too much interference from the producers and ASM was the embodiment of ****ty decisions made purely for the sake of milking the franchise by Sony.

They managed to learn one thing about Spidey's design and they should be commended for it. As far as CBMs go, that's a good 75% of the entertainment value. If we don't get anything other than a great costume out of this, it would still be worth it... but barely.

Wait, Spidey 1/2 are good movies, Spidey 2 is actually an excellent movie.

At one point it was considered to be one of the best cbm.

Still is for many, makes the upper top 5.

Agreed, SM2 is in my top 5 CBM's for sure.

I remember even hating it then. I did and still like Spiderman 1 though. It has aged well but I think its better. I think the first two X-Men films still hold up fine though even though I know a lot of people might disagree.

X1 and X2 are still great movies, with X2 joining SM2 as one of my Top 5 CBM's.

Everybody on the train could give the same description as the kid in the dangling car is ASM. Spiderman is....a white guy with hair! APB!

I don't see what Spider-Man fan/Comic book film fan/film fan could hate Spider-Man 2. The train scene? That killed it for some of you? The message there isn't that the people are these cynical ****s that want to hurt Spider-Man by telling people who he is. No, they have a respect for him because he saved their lives. They were all about to die and they knew it. There's, what, a woman with a new born baby, two little kids, a business guy that reassures him that "it's okay", and a couple of dudes who are reminded of their own sons. Yeah, they have an incentive to tell everyone.

Great thing to dwell on. Certainly makes for a horrible movie.

I love Blade 3, FF2 and Ghost Rider 2......

Blade 3 is quite entertaining, i'd say it's the least worst third marvel superhero movie.

If anything, if this movie sucks, I at least want to see how Spidey deals with the Rhino and Electro. how he wins. I hopehe wins in very clever ways too.
