The CGI in S1/S3 looks organic and natural compared to the videogame look from this movie.

Yea, that's what I immediately thought, that the web is going to snap or something. Still Peter's fault but does seem a little less harsh than breaking her neck. If they do that, I wonder how kids will react. Spiderman failing to save his girlfriend is pretty messed up.

I thought AMS wasn't dark at all but thats just me .

He had an arrogant, cocky moment with that police officer. That's the closest he ever came to being a "*********" in the film.

So, no. He wasn't a *********.

Agreed that was the only smartass douchy moment, imo

I thought AMS wasn't dark at all but thats just me .

I think that was one of the big complaints that ASM & MOS get, the tone & cinematography being too dark and "joyless" instead of lighter and comicky

I would love for the movie's to have the tone The Spectacular Spiderman Tv show had the had the prefect balance of comedy it was serious when it needed to be it was fun.

He did respect her father, but at the end of the day he loves Gwen and wants to be with her.

A ********* would stay with Gwen to spite her father.

Is he a teenager following his heart and making a bad decision? Yes. Is he a *********? No.
