I think Iron Man 1 is by far the best movie Marvel put out. Cap is looking like it can be that good.

He's not a child, he's a "young man" or what seems like a senior in high school. He should WELL KNOW what respect is and gives it to nobody, least of all those in authority and his loved ones. He's completely self-centered even when "helping" the police. That is what a ********* is and that is what this Spider-Man/Parker is. As Lerath put it earlier, Peter Parker is more like Leonard from Big Bang theory. If you think this ********* personifies Spider-Man/Peter Parker, you're the one who's completely ignorant about the character (that, coincidentally, I've been reading in comics since looooooong before you were squirted out).

There are some people forecasting the worst for this movie and I get that. You look at Electro, you look at Mecha Rhino, etc... and it looks like its trollfacing. But you take that out of the equation and the Spidey stuff and Gwen I think looks like the penultimate I would like to see on screen. We all know its not going to be perfect, but I am very much hoping we see enough improvement that the good stuff stamps out the bad, afterall thats usually the bottom line, don't most movies have something you think could be improved upon, but when they get enough really right, it minimizes that. I am going to see this based on the Spidey/Gwen saga. I'd love to have a strong awesome villain, but if not, oh well. If there is something good in the villain department, then I get to be pleasantly surprised.

Is no one else at least excited about the Gwen and Spidey storyline?

I liked Thor 1 a lot as well. That and Iron Man were the only Marvel Studio films I liked. The First Avenger was okay but I thought got worse in the second half.

No he's a.kid,seventeen you.don't make.the right decisions. Your just finding faults in this Spiderman because you don't like it. It's called being selfish.and that's what he's doing. If he were a ****** then he.wouldn't be a hero. Spiderman never respected authority if you read the.comics you'd know he never respected police.because they blamed him for everything. Read ultimate. You act like he's 25 yrs old. A seventeen yr old makes mistakes and doesn't like authority.

He doesn't yet have JJJ villifying him and turning the public against him. At this point, he's literally breaking the law and acting like his **** doesn't stink because he thinks he knows better. This is what the whole dinner conversation establishes. He's a *********.
