Saw it yesterday with Dad. Solid flick and am looking forward to more but it wasn't something is run right back and see. I will say Garfield does feel like Parker in how he plays him. I'll get this on blu for a spidey fix when needed.

i know the comics and all but the tone was all over the place it need to be one or the other i fear for this frachchise now Webb is terrible at editing the film.

His editing definitely needs some work, not sure if its due to him always removing a ton of scenes before the movies releases.

All I know is that I left this movie with a grin on my face, like I did with Cap.

Editing and pacing were not controlling my emotions

This movie did not go full tornado on me. :lol

Where do you place this movie in the entire movie series?

You have the best Avatar in the world right now, I can't get enough of that free fall and the music-sound effects that went along with it.

I asked the local theater if I could have the huge ASM2 banners they had on display....they said no.

Might ask again next week, when I go. :lol

Going to be damn near impossible to replace JKS as JJJ.

Harder than even RDJ as Stark.

Yeah, I almost wrote that but I want to keep an open mind. Raimi may have played fast and loose with a lot of details but he nailed JJJ.

I was even picturing JKS when Peter got his email reply.

I said this in another thread, but I think it's the best of the entire series. It's DEFINITELY not perfect. Not by any means. But they did Spider-Man SO ridiculously right, I can easily look past a lot of the flaws. Honestly, I think Andrew Garfield's performance alone outshines a lot of what was accomplished in Raimi's trilogy.

My rankings:
ASM2
ASM1 (although I'm tempted to throw this back up as my fave, some moments)
SM2
SM1
SM3

I will gladly elaborate on that ranking, if I get badgered enough. :lol
