It was a nice country while it lasted. It's totally ****ed now though and there is literally no way to fix it short of burning it all down. why? because they aren't sending loads of money on a mediocre a movie that was a sequel to a mediocre reboot? I just saw that ASM2 is 40 million behind ASM at the same point of both films release. That's pretty huge, I'm actually shocked, I may not like the movie that much but I thought it would be doing alot better than the first one, it does play well to the kids but I guess parents aren't that into it.

I find ASM 2 to be much better than 1.

I prefer 1 as the structure of the story is far stronger but the spider-man moments in 2 are better. I'm all about story over character though, doesn't matter how great your character is if your story isn't good.

Except that Marvel Studios uses a fictional timespan of about 70 years while this film does it in what 10? over the course of 2 movies instead of 9, lacking off world locations, lacking off shore locations even.

This whole franchise literally feels bred inside a lab.

Ok folks enough jokes......... Sorry I just wanted to use an 8 mile line but anyway. I honestly dont give a damn what happens to this franchise anymore. I hate to admit it but the first asm felt like a cash grab to me and I let it go since I thought the sequels would provide better things. It delivered the best spiderman we've gotten on screen and some heartfelt themes and moments but at the end of the day it didnt capture that feel i had with the raimi films and yes I find the raimi films to be very flawed and souless at times but they felt more like spiderman movies to me. With this they got the character right but the world he is in is just plain.
If they announced they were giving this to marvel tomorrow I wouldnt care.
