I kind of agree with giving him more time... maybe they could have lengthened his arc and played up the friendship a bit more (really it was only the rock skipping scene) I have been pretty hyped up over them in past years, a lot of them have hit the right notes, Iron man will always hold a place in my heart but I really want to scrub my memory of Iron man 3
it was straight up garbage. Marvel has done a really great job, Fox not so much, Xmen has been twisted and turned so many times that I really dont care for the movies at all anymore... Ill watch the new x men but I know I wont get anything out of it, next movie will be a largely new cast and screw it up more. DC's been pretty good too, but I think thats all Nolan... MOS was decent, Zod is what made that movie for me, totally got behind him
They did do that... from meeting spidey in the opening, to his apartment with all the spidey stuff and talking to himself, smythe, co workers etc.. all treating him as a nobody and mocking him. Then comes the times square scene and he was scared and misunderstood yadah yadah, then felt betrayed... and got angry. Then poked and prodded in a lab... I think they did a really good job at showing his transformation. and yes he looked incredible... and the heavy bass that accompanied him was just awesome
So he is sympathetic to the audience almost exclusively because we see more of his transformation, But theres a point where he just goes off the deepend, which is good because we dont need another sandman
