No, I don't mean that. Once transhumanist technology is successfully deployed, there will be countless imitators and copycats attempting to crack the code and ride the bandwagon. That and the fact that Cap is a thematic lynchpin because of his 95-year-old age allows me to cut a lot of slack to the MCU.

Sony's overuse of OSCORP for everything? Not so much.

You could rename the entire movie section to that from my experience.

I actually don't hate this film, there's a lot of good stuff in it. But it's ruined by a few really crappy things that are unquestionably crappy as we all know why they're there: studio influence.

There's a LOT of films you can disagree about liking, but there's not many examples anymore like this film where it's blatantly botched by the studio's demands. That's the only thing I'm making fun off to speak for myself.

Nobody can convince me this film would've been this way had there not been any demands for some sort of shared universe setup. Oscorp is literally a villain-factory. That's not writing, that's milking.

The genuine great thing about these films is what Webb, Garfield, Stone and in this second one DeHaan bring. The rest is LITERALLY So- I mean Oscorp making up ****.

Yea thats true but anyway I agree with the whole oscorp creates everything deal. But then if you think about it what else could cause most of these spidey villains then a science laboratory? I mean in ultimate the Hammer guy made most of the rogues and octopus came from oscorp. Ah who knows.
