I don't particularly care for the TDK suit myself but does that have ANY bearing on this thread?

Yes, the point was that if people can accept the drastic change from the BB suit to TDK suit then why can't people accept the change to this Spidey suit?

Um......its to make a point. People can accept the TDK suit, so why can't they accept the Spiderman one?
Why do people overuse the "twilight" Spiderman card?

I like 'em all, this spider-man included, and the change to TDK one was kindof a plot hole when you think about it.

The second he realised Joker had a fetish for knives he should've gone back to a suit that wasn't more vulnerable to knives (seperation of the plates) he got stabbed at least once cos of the TDK costume.

The second he realised Joker had a fetish for knives he should've gone back to a suit that wasn't more vulnerable to knives (seperation of the plates) he got stabbed at least once cos of the TDK costume.

The suit was also made to make him less vurnarable to dogs. What'd he fight in the climax with the Joker. Oh yeah, that's right. Dogs. It wasn't a plot hole, it's called foreshadowing.

Yeah, but it's suppose to be faster and easier to move in. Hence, easier to deal with dogs. "My suit's keeping me slowed down, I need to be fast more agile."

That's awesome! I don't hate the AMSM suit. I hate that they're rebooting complete with an origin story. It was a decade ago... And yes, if the reboot of Batman does the origin over, I'll also be annoyed. Will I hate that they're rebooting? Perhaps, if Nolan's trilogy ends with Batman still as Batman. But obviously if he retires or dies or they really eff up Gotham to the point of no return, then it's obvious they would need to start over.

The Raimi movies didn't end. In fact, I wanted them to attempt to redeem the series after the travesty of the third one. Say what you will about those films as comic fans, but general audiences loved them. The second one was my favorite superhero movie until BB came out. Still ranks up there but it's hard to watch and enjoy the way they ended things with Harry. So lame. Ugh. If that one had been as good as the first two, PERHAPS I wouldn't mind this reboot business so soon. Dunno.

Not everyone accepted it at first. It took them a while. Some still haven't.
