Let's hope it stays that way in the film, when Peter Parker is on the screen i don't expect him to wear the Spider-Man mask so when Spider-Man is onscreen i don't expect to see Peter Parker.

Garfield will get enough facetime as Peter, he doesn't need it as Spidey too.

I just hope he doesn't get unmasked for everyone to see in every film too. I hated that in the Keaton Batman and Tobey Spidey flicks. He wears a mask for a reason. And, if they want to be multicultural about things, that's fine, however, just bring in new characters to do that. Don't make JJJ a woman, or the Rhino African American, of the Prowler Asian.

Keaton Batman never takes his mask off in '89, so it's not every film. And he only takes it off in front of Selina (well, Shreck too). The reason he wears it is to keep his identity hidden. At that point, Selina knew who he was and by taking it off he was opening himself up to her.

So that doesn't count.

I agree about the Raimi Spider-Man films though. However I don't recall him doing it at all in the first film.

Also, this is probably just a proto suit aka his 1st attempt. I seriously doubt if theres a sequel this suit will be in it, i'm sure it evolves.

The bickering wears thin. I just don't get what happened where all of a sudden there's little to no tolerance for differing opinions. I miss being able to read the movie threads and get great information.

I agree about the Raimi Spider-Man films though. However I don't recall him doing it at all in the first film.

He removes it when he catches the burglar (not the full suit but still) and in the last scene it's basically one eye covered while fighting GG. The biggest sin for me wasn't the train scene in SM2 but the free for all fight with Harry in SM3, he was seriously swinging around and shooting webs past a ton of buildings, people on the streets, just about anybody on the street. I mean that is where we got things like "The Amazing Bag-Man" because guarding his identity was so important.

I'm pretty sure it's the same franchise too. I think you meant series.

The current one. Abosuluty dule and generic but people claim it's the best suit ever. Once upon a time the batman begins suit was no well liked but it was better than the tdk suit imo

I wouldn't like pink no, the gold eyes just contrast well with the rest of the suit.

I still have a nagging feeling that since Oscorp is involved that like Bruce finds his suit in Wayne Enterprises that Pete will swipe the material at least from good ol' Normie so make it seem like he could fashion it still wouldn't be needed.

That's a really good point, I never thought of that.

Here's a grab of Peter making the suit (though the material looks different so it may be a "first night out" version. Kinda like the wrestling costume in the SM1.)

Something's suppose to happen in the next couple of days. They've been promoting it on their FB. New trailer and some wallpapers etc.

I really hope Peter being a science nerd plays more of a part in this flick than it did in the Raimi ones. They always hinted at it in those flicks, but it never really played much of a role.

It's like Batman in the Nolan movies. He's supposed to be the greatest detective in the world, and a brilliant strategist, but you don't really see that. Mainly, he's just punching people.

I hope Spiderman actually gets some ass in the new movies. It looked like he stayed a virgin throughout Raimis films

I still don't understand the hate on the suit. Compared to the HUGE departure TDK suit is from the BB suit, there's no room for Batman fanboys to talk at all.

^^^ seriously, those two suits are so different from each other, TDK one looks like it could've been from a reboot to BB. Plus TDK suit barely resembles anything Batman has worn in the books.

Um......its to make a point. People can accept the TDK suit, so why can't they accept the Spiderman one?
Why do people overuse the "twilight" Spiderman card?
