Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Yeah for sure doing things differently this time around.

THANK GOD!

I REALLY wanna see Green Goblin look JUST like your sig. I wonder if they're setting this movie up as the introduction to Norman for the sequel. Still, If The Lizards THAT big, I could only imagine how much Bigger they'd make Venom............:horror

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Who knows. But i would put $ on it by the 3rd movie.

I wonder if they'll make the Sinister Six be on the 3rd movie, so Green Goblin isn't the main villain alone (like raimis verion). Spiderman can have other villians to fight, and end the last fight with Gwen snapping her neck on the water...:)...:monkey2 They'd probably even Make Norman Osborn the leader of the team (he pretty much was in ultimate Spiderman when they killed Peter...)

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

I REALLY love the fact that he made a Spider-Web in the sewer to feel for The Lizards movements through vibrations. Just like....wait for it.....a SPIDER :lecture:):hi5:

good catch

:lol

Whatever the case i just want to see Mysterio. :)

Hell yeah!

Anyways, it's nice to see a Spidey that actually moves around with lots of dynamic energy.

I am by no means a hater of Spidey 1 and 2, but I loved the energy on display here.

It is 2012, I would expect this kind of upgrade.

I'm also excited for the Spidey 3D action but many dark scenes involved so lets see what happens.

2011 and 2012 were and will be epic years.

Bravo Marvel and DC Superheros, I embrace them all.

Bring on Avengers, Spidey and Batman, what's not to like.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Definitely a very different take from the Raimi's version. It's a totally opposite take in fact.

Darker, edgier, it's Spiderman like I have never seen before. I wouldn't say it obliterate the Raimi version because they are such different take and can't really be compared.

Kinda like how it's really hard to compare Keaton's Bat to Bale's Bat and Donner Superman to the new Superman.

One can tell all these movies take their inspiration from a totally different era of the comics.

Raimi Spidey has the nostalgic 60s flavor that i love a lot while ASM has the Ultimates flavor which I am beginning to love a lot.

The trailer got me really excited though I still don't really like the characterization of Peter Parker. He is too bad boy for me (even the ultimates parker isn't that punkish)

The Lizard CGI is bad and the suit still suck. I have mixed feelings about the webshooter lighting up cause it looks like a very toy merchandising move.

But I do agree that this trailer is better than the Avengers trailer.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

I like the blue color and vibe the city seems to give off for the majority of the trailer. As soon as Captain Stacy pulls his mask off, the way he flipped and fought looked fantastic. Now ask yourself, How many Superheroes can dodge bullets at damn near point blank range?

Great observations and valid thoughts.

PP hopefully will even out a little.

The shooter I guess can be what it needs to be, as long as it's a shooter.

CGI Lizard still has plenty of time to improve, miss the lab coat though. :monkey2

I don't believe one trailer is better than the other.

Seeing Avengers assembled in a high budget movie is something rather special in its own way, know what I mean.

I think his web shooter lights up to display the web style he's gonna use, like ball, burst, shot, swing-web....you know....s__t like that.
Where the Hell is Nam??? :lol Is he alright?

This makes me wonder how the game will be alot more now. I bet Hot Toys will show a teaser before the movie is out, or shortly afterwards though. :)

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

I want to see this movie because Emma Stone sports a miniskirt and thigh high socks. Something about babes in the school girl wardrobe just gets me going. Pretty much why I paid willingly to see Sucker Punch right away. :lol

And yes I love Britney Spears during her "Baby One More Time" music video. :drool
