Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Nightwing dont respond. No more fighting people. Now. I think that the webshooters are really cool but the only problem is the red blinking light. i feel like thats going to bother me. I also dont believe a 10 foot long strand of webbing can come out of such a small thing but whatever. The lizard looks cool imo but people keep saying how he looks like venom just becuase of the snout and head. Lizard's desigh is really unique and thats all I gotta say but I really wish they gave us the damn coat. I saw it on the cover of the lego blocks but I didnt see it in the trailer.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

I cant' believe people can suspend disbelief when it comes to a kid being bitten by a radioacive spider and getting superpowers, but not when it comes to the webshooters. We fanboys obsess on some of the craziest ____ sometimes.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Webshooters for the win. I'm glad they aren't "organic" again.

Not sure if I like Garfield. He's kind of annoying. But he can't be worse than Tobey.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

I sderiously dont get the love for tobey. yea I love the old films but the way he cried and _____ed all the time was so annoying. That whole chocolate cake scene in the second movie was also a head scratcher. Made no sense.

Looks okay. I'm willing to go along with all the changes. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the whole conspiracy thing with Peter's parents, and that it seems like they are going so purposely dark. Seems a bit contrived.

But like I said, I'll go along with it. Looks promising.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

You do realize the main reason TDK broke anything at all was because of The Joker/Heath Ledgers death and hyped performance right? Without that, It would've made around the same amount as Batman Begins. Instead of saying "Hell yeah! Batman did it!" you should be thanking Heath for playing The Joker and dying sadly enough. It may sound harsh, but its a flat out fact.

This is the strangest post I've read in here so far. Heath Ledger's death may have given the role more coverage in the media but his performance is what made so many people fanatical. He was a good actor and really did something unique and special with the role, had he not died I'm sure we would have seen in him in this and he'd be enjoying the accalades of his work. You don't see something because someone died, his last role was Doctor Parnassus you didn't see that breaking box office records left and right because he was in it. It made more money than Batman Begins and is where it is box office wise because it was a flat out good movie and a different thought to the genre.

It was a movie first and a superhero flick second and really took the time to tell a story. Without it, we wouldn't have this film or Captain America or the other superhero flims that have started to ground themselves in realism and focus on the story instead of every ____ing thing blowing up. This is coming from someone who is looking far more to this than TDKR.

This thread is getting borderline insane. It needs clean-up by a mod at this point.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Funny thing to write after a mod had locked it and gone through it since noon but sure let's go with that, let's talk about Spider-Man.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

I am amazingly psyched (pun unintentional) for this. I haven't been pumped for a Spider-Man flick since '02 so I'm welcoming this with open arms.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

ASM is ranked third as far as my anticipation for superhero films goes but I have a feeling it has the highest chance of being undeservedly savaged by critics a la Green Lantern this year.

This Alone makes it 200 times better than the other spiderman movies...
