i'm only interested to see the fight scenes. i just hope it wont be like hulk vs abomination sequence.

If you think Raimi ruined Spider-Man 3, you clearly didn't do your research.

If you think this movie isn't going to share the same fate, well, good luck with that delusion.

Wait for Spider-Man 2 when they have Venom, and Goblin, and Ock, and Ghost Rider running around, because that will make more money.

Unless they learned their lesson. Which, after seeing Ghost Rider, they probably didn't.

I own both SM1 and SM2 on blu ray. There cool flicks. This has a way more spidey feel to it.

A lot of movies are RUINED because of studio tampering.

Hollywood politics are interesting. Venom NEVER existed in Spider-Man 3, and was only added later, before the shoot.

I'm confused. How does the new Spider-Man film have a more "spidey feel" than the last Spider-Man films? They both feel genuine to me. Even though I'm not bought on this new stuff yet.

They seemed pretty new, exciting and faithful back in the early 2000s. In fact, it wasn't until 2007 where I saw criticisms against anything Spider-Man film related except maybe the Green Goblin's armored suit.

I remember people ranting and raving that "SPIDEH 2 IS TEH BEST SUPERHERO COMIC FILM EVER!!!".

Why don't you take a good hard look at the promo art, clips , pics and trailers and you'll see how it's different

Look in this spiderman we got a science wiz peter, a parker thats an emotional wreck due to his parents and bullying in school. A wisecracking kid when in costume. Gwen stacy is his first love intrest. Peter hasnt cried like a _____ yet from what I've seen so far. No Butterface women in sight so far in this movie. Dr curt conners actually turns into the lizard. No campyness or for example little girls bargaining for film. Seems more serious and actually use pratical effects instead of alot of CGI

The old movies are automatic crap because there is a new reboot coming out. The new suit looks terrible with the sneaker shoes and just fingered Smurfette gloves.

I don't see the new movie topping Spider-Man II, that move was awesome and pure Spider-Man.

The Amazing Spider-Man fans.


You all loved the Spider-Man flicks back in the day. Saying you didn't would be a motha ____in lie. You're all like children in that regard. The old thing is old, and now you have a new toy. So you throw the old one away because you can't accept having both.

Simple as that. Movie could be alright. But that doesn't make the fans of it already any less crazy, and it doesn't make the fact that the movie could be a total piece of dump.

This seriously does seem like what is happening. I simply don't understand it. I don't ever remember people bashing Spiderman 1&2...I love those movies and I hope this one turns out just as good.


So far though, nothing I've seen of the new movie has me excited. I don't care for the lizard design, HATE the new Spiderman suit, trailers are meh...and the "comedic" clips just seem awkward to me.




...and lol@ anyone who thinks this movie can compare to Prometheus
