Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

I thought that was stupid aswell. I never got that but then I thought about it. Probaly its becuase to convey emotion to the character. It would be strange to have spideys eyes move in CG so while it sucks thats the reason.

You beat me to it. :)

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

are you joking.:rotfl. not one thing in the trailer represented anything from twilight whatsoever.
no forrest
no ugly women
no glitter
no pansy vampires.

just a guy in a skin tight spidey suit saving new york from a giant lizard.

:lol

Apparently that Swat team shot the hell out of the Lizard in that trailer. Someone's going be pissed about bullet holes in his Lab Coat when he gets up.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

No, I get the Edward Cullen comparison. It's the dumb hair... And his angsty loner self. I liked laughing at Macguire's caricature of a geek. I don't wanna feel all depressed with Garfield's Parker. Just an observation I have from the trailers. It's all out of context. Hopefully I'm proven wrong in the comparison :)

So it seems he can survive bullets. interesting.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Regeneration? Isn't that how he turns into the Lizard? Trying to grow his arm like a lizard regrows a tail? Makes sense. I like it.

It'll be a mix between that and armor-like scales, I'm sure.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

I really like how they're making The Lizard someone to run and hide from. The part with Gwen hiding while he walks by is great. :clap

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Yea officially way more excited for this then Avengers or TDK. This looks way better then I expected and I pretty much only disliked Lizard's design upto this point but that was pretty damn reassuring. If the movie lives upto the trailer I'll be very happy, and I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with Goblin and the rest of the villians in the sequels. I've had enough of the dated cgi in SM and Dafoe's Power Ranger costume.

I love that some of you guys see Nickelback and Kirsten Down Syndrome Dunst getting kidnapped 8 times in 3 movies as something to defend. :lol

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

I think some of the cgi still needs some work, but I think they nailed Spider-Man's movement animations better than Raimi's movie's ever did.

Did you see the wall-crawling part of the trailer? So quick and graceful, unlike the slow, awkward wall-humping of Tobey Spidey. And the web-swinging? Better also.

Looking forward to this, but not moreso than The Avengers or TDKR, to be honest.

I loved the clip of Lizard chasing him along the cieling, it was very fluid and as you said graceful

Talk about critical. Considering one is ten years old.
