This is going to be awesome. I'm liking the new pic of Lizard. I'm really interested to see him move on-screen though, from a realism standpoint. That will make or break it, but I'm keeping the faith.
The movements of Spider-Man look phenomenal. It translated so well, IMO. I'm hoping for the same with Lizard. I can't tell too much from the quick 2 second glimpses we've had.

I never liked him until I played the SM3 game, he's awesome in that, not alot of villains like him for SM to face off against, he uses the sewers, he can run right up a wall onto the ceiling like Spidey can. It just provides for some cool fights. I want the villains to be broken up in terms of abilities, one like Lizard, then one that can fly, then one like Hydro or Sandman that can shift. Keep it fresh.
Same here. It feels more uplifting somehow knowing this is the start of a new trilogy instead of the end of one. More to look forward to and I love the all the Oscorp foreshadowing. Going on the Oscorp website you can just tell these people are gonna be responsible for a ton of mutated villains.

I remember SM3 the game, really fun! The lizard and kingpin stories were the best.
Kingpin would be a cool villain in the sequel.

I don't get why people hated that game. It was ok. Anyway I knew once we saw pics and trailers for this movie it would start to get a bigger following.

I think the naysayers are going to be taken by surprise with this film. Do any of you guys hear Garfield's accent when he talks? I'm trying to here it, but really can't which is a good thing.

It's easy to hear if you compare it to Hayden's attempt at a pseudo-British accent for Star Wars. While Garfield (hell just about anybody) is better than Christensen, their speech patterns are almost identical.

Been watching some more stuff it's for sure there now. It's faint, but you can tell. Not a big deal unless you REALLY focus on it. (was just curious)

Kinda OT but Im watching X-Men First Class and just noticed for the first time January Jones has a lisp. I will have to rewatch the SM trailer, I didn't pick up on an accent.

I think they should keep the Norman Osborn/Green Goblin forshadowing going until the 3rd or sixth movie with the sinister six. He should be the leader of the team and have the other members overwhelm Spiderman throughout the film, leading to Gwen snapping her neck on the water after going through hell with the other 5 villians...
.....just a thought.....even if it sucks......

Yeah i agree, stay away from goblin till at least the 3rd Film. (and then do him justice)
And stay away from Venom for a while as well.
We need Mysterio, Kraven, Kingpin before those two again. (Goblin should be built up and terrifying.)
